Yeah there are a lot of smokers and hey just throw their butts out anywhere it kind of gets annoying after a while

Nope, not overreacting! I hate when someone smokes while walking by me, and tossing the butt near me. If it touches a person, it can cause a bad burn, y'know! 

And the second-hand smoke thing is a concern too. The gas station blowing up is a low possibility, but it IS a possibility, so you should tell the person about it. (Don't flame at the person, lawl.)

A lot of people I know smoke, I can understand why some might. (Addiction, calms them etc) But I would never smoke myself and I do find it rude just throwing it anywhere. In fact, we've had a burn ban here for quite a while. (Oklahoma) And some guy threw a cigarette out, started a fire that spread to several counties!

Holy shiet wow! Yeah that is inexcusable, I hate folks who put out or throw their cigartes onto things that they shouldn't. It wouldn't kill them to mind where they put them after they are done also.

I think this extends well to all forms of littering. I mean really, is it that hard for you people to pick up your trash? If you don't like it, then don't start smoking in the first place.

Just two days ago my dad had his car parked in a parking lot eating his lunch.  It was nice so he had the windows down and the guy in the car next to him had his window down too.  Now we usually don't care what the other people do in their own cars.  This was an exception not only did he smoke but he threw out his unfinished cigarette bud out of his window and it blew into my dad's car burning a hole into the carpet of the floor.  This really got my dad angry, thankfully my dad just decided to drive off and not confront the guy.

Also my dad's best friend used to be a smoker and after he would leave the house I would go out and sweep up all the cigarette buds from the outside stare case so we did not have litter in our front lawn.  I only met one nice smoker (my brother's ex-boyfriend) who would stomp out his bud then put it in a plastic bag.  He would throw out the plastic bag at his own house!  He was so respectful of our property! 

So there are some nice smokers, and those littering smokers probably are nice, but they don't realize what they are doing.  Note us non smokers do some bad stuff to.  Let see have you ever thrown out recycables into a public garbage instead of bringing it home to clean out and to take care of properly?  I've witness my dad and even my strict step mom do this!  Every time you don't recycle it's like a smoker throwing a cigarette bud onto the ground.

This should sort of end the controversy between smokers and non smokers.

WHAT!? He thre the butt away in a gas station near your car and the pumps!!! Surely that has to be illegal to smoke near gas stations or some shiz surely if someone accidentally spilt some gas on the floor like when parents let their kids fill the cars up they always a spill a little you wouldn't be here to write this message. Maybe I'm the one overacting here but I think that's the right amount of peevage to have it certainly gets on my nerves ESPECIALLY  in a GAS STATION!

Some of these are really funny. Im totally digging that Im not alone on this and that Im not entirely crazy.

I agree that it's weird that he threw his butt at you, but it sounds like he is just generally rude. This has nothing to do with whether he's a smoker or not.
