rendezvous564 : Eye doctor said the infection is 95% gone, but I still cant use contacts because it may come back. Anyway today I wore my glasses all day and I must say I dont look that weird. Meh, maybe it was a first impression thing? I still like contacts better however, but that is just me.

I prefer glasses because contacts are expensive and they can hurt a lot... I tried contacts and the hassle wasn't worth it for me. I could barely stand wearing them.

From what I've been reading so far, most people (including me) think that contacts are annoying, expensive, and uncomfortable. Glad to know I'm not alone in this opinion. Of course I will admit that glasses do have some disadvantages like not being able to swim in them and how easily they can break. Of course contacts are easier to lose, with glasses, you always know that they're there.

When I wake up in the morning and I can hardly keep my eyes open, it's a bad time to try to stick something in my eyes. They irritate me even though I try to wear them often and get used to them. Plus, glasses are easier and I like the way they're just always... "there" I guess. Glasses, baby!

XxChaosxX : Don't worry you wont be sad anytime soon because I like my glasses better than contacts. I can't poke myself in the eye so therefore, by default, glasses are my choice. And I too cannot drive legally without my glasses .

I vote for glasses i have had glasses ever since i was 3 and i got contacts a couple years ago, and i hate wearing them. they just feel uncomfortable and i keep readjusting my invisible glasses every few minutes.

I am terrified of contacts and I really like how I look in my glasses. I do wish that I could wear sunglasses while driving though, as I have light sensitive eyes... clip-ons never fit right and prescription sunglasses are so expensive.
