My first and only legit shiny pokemon I caught was an accidental found was a geodude in pearl (now a graveler) I caught it on Nov. 16, 2009 at route 214 and it was a level 22 when I found it. I was really trying to find two houndooms to catch and make them breed to get houndour.

Mine takes the cake, guys. In Sapphire, I saved before facing Kyogre and kept battling, using a soft reset until Kyogre was shiny! My purple Kyogre is my favorite shiny, but my first was a Growlithe in Gold. Once I realized they could be shiny, I became a shiny-hunter! Some of my others that come to mind would be Cyndaquil(in HeartGold), Riolu, Salamence, Chatot, Quagsire, and Voltorb.

the first shiny i ever caught in the wild was was probably a khangaskhan or a zangoose. and on pokemon indigo icaught a shiny rayquaza and kyogre and also mew oh the luck is so nice to have!
