I'd play the REAL Super Mario Bros. 2, because the US version was fake, and almost everybody knows that. It felt like the game was missing a piece.

I'd recommend Sin & Punishment. That was it's English name, I am not sure of it's Japanese name. The cutscenes are voiced in English, with Japanese subtitles, and the only difficult part of it is the menus, which can be used through trial and error. Unfortunately, it is not in the RGR as far as I know, although I might have missed it under it's Japanese name.
