Well I’m going to be 26 in a month. Looking back at my life I’ve been thinking that seven years ago I had a drastic life-changing experience. I’ve been thinking of how much God has brought me along in my walk with Him and of how the rest of my life here is still to grow with Him. Had I committed to Him earlier in my life, how much more awesome might my life be?

I’ve noticed that some of the Christians here on this board are younger than me, and still, they all have an advantage: the advantage of growing in their walk with the Lord while they are still young, because I literally had to start my life over at 19: it seems, in so many direct aspects of my life now, that I am just ‘7.’

For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:14-17).

well, looks like this board is back in business!

dogll23 : I think what tRIUNE is trying to say is that when we became Christians, God would change us to the point where it is evident that God did a work in our lives. If Christians are truly saved by God, their life, both thought and deed, would not be like the world, but focuses more on God and what He desires.

Of course in our flesh we still sin, but when we become Christians, the process of sanctification would be evident in our lives. We would not desire to sin, we may stumble into temptation, but we would not dive into sin as if it is no big deal in God's eyes.

My life has finally started reflecting Gods. I suppose some way in particular would be showing more love. I kinda with dogll23. We can never really reflect the LORD.

well, I think reflect is a good term for it.

It's like we are the moon.... and we're reflecting just a bit of light from the sun... it's a small glimpse at what we could be like if we lived our lives the way Jesus did.

We will never live up to the standards that Jesus set... but I think as Christians we should do our best to try to.

In a unique way it does, although not in the way most people have lord in their life thats for sure lol. What I'm talking is more centered around the end of days of Christianity. I know there will be an event in the future that will trick and deceive people. I'm taking about the Rapture. I do not know if there is a real rapture but I know for certain there is a fake one in the works which will no doubt deceive tons of people.

God is getting weaker and evil is rising, the deception ratio is going to be extremely high by the time the rapture comes and I got a feeling a lot of people will fall for the antichrist's deception without knowing it.

I am not christian nor any religion currently but I do have the lord in my life, in a unique way I think I look at it opposite, I'm more of a believer in the end then the beginning because I get to witness it myself.

Someone here on earth is playing god so I feel its my mission to live in the dark and follow their lead in order to discover the truth.

"God is getting weaker and evil is rising"

God doesn't get weaker.... maybe the people who follow him are fewer in number, but God is no less powerful today than he was before. Just because he doesn't force people to believe in him doesn't mean he isn't powerful or having an impact in the world....

I'm looking at it differently then you. I guess you can reword it and say evil is getting stronger that makes more sense depending on how you look at it
