When my old one breaks, basically. I don't buy into the "phone craze" either, I don't really care about having the newest Android or iPhone because it's just a phone. All I use my phone for is texting, and calling people in emergecies. If I drop a lot of money on technology it's on my computer, since that is what I use the most.

I avoid buying a new cell phone until the one I have is not usable. The reason for this is because every year I make it without upgrading, the better my upgrade options are when I have to get a new one. I have so much credit on my account from not utilizing upgrades, I can get their most expensive one without paying a cent when I get a new one.
