I'm just curious, what do you honestly think of the Vizzed Board's layout? You can vote silently if you want.
The new layout took quite a long time to make and it's target audience are gamers, I just want to make sure it's a good layout and appropriate for the site's content and also wanted to make sure the layout that was different than what you see on other sites (in other words, not the same old thing you see on every other site).

I like it... I don't love it. I miss my Dark layout option that the old board had.... I preferred it to this one.
However, I do like this one as well. I prefer dark layouts to light/white ones. I hate having lots of light/white on a website. It's too bright for me. However, I do like this one as well. geeogree : Yeah dark layouts are easier on the eyes. When you're staring at a monitor all day and you have a lot of white and bright colors, it can me hard on the eyes. A monitor is by default black so the lighter the colors, the more light you have to stare at.

I think the sites layout is amazing. It seems like its becoming more rare to find sites with an actual atmosphere these days because they are all turning into boring corporate like sites. Some people might not like use of lots of color but I do.
You can never really please anyone either way no matter what kind of layout you have. So the best option is to not waste time making more but instead giving users the option to make their own layouts. I love it. It is original and fun looking. Although people I've tried to refer on Newgrounds said they didn't. Maybe you can keep this scheme and make a few simple, boring ones that for some reason, people like. I also like the idea of the Dark Layout. Anyways, I like the Acmlm board type of style, I find others repulsive. This scheme is also the best ever, and it attracted me to stay because there were a lot of good colors.

I think it's pretty good. I think you should make the original board style an option. Or better yet, a mobile version. Possibly an app for Apple App Store, Andriod Market, or the WebOS place... I dunno the name. Or just a mobile version.

alexanyways : About newgrounds, you can't really listen to anything they say over there. I've gone there and asked for help with Vizzed Flash Bash and I had a few insults thrown my way, one guy said that he could create the game ground up in only a few hours, he obviously knew nothing about flash and just wanted to take the opportunity to get some of his nerd anger out. A lot of people on newgrounds are that way, they have a lot of nerd anger built and are ready to unleash it whenever possible, even if they have to say stupid things or things that are untrue.
Also, it's possible that the 'eye bleeding' comment was because of the RGR link colors at the time, they didn't match the scheme. It's been fixed recently as of a few weeks ago.

I like it, but I don't really love it, it's a bit dark, but I like the color blue a lot. It's also very unique and it attracts my eye.

noelia : the only real option is to give multiple layouts.... let people choose the color scheme they want. I would prefer one to be even darker than this one.... some people want a lighter one. I think lots of options would be good.... but I can't see it as a priority considering how many members that join here regardless of the layout/colors. -------------------- |

geeogree : The problem with that though is the amount of time required and I've got more important things to work on. Eventually I'll offer some extra schemes though. The board's background also plays a big role, maybe I could let users change the background to whatever they want, we'll see.

oh I agree... the time it takes to make a few extra layouts isn't worth it. Unless you can come up with a quick and/or easy way to allow people to modify the colors themselves.... which could be a really fun idea... but again, there are other more important/exciting features I want to see first. -------------------- |

But, as David said, there are so many things to work for, that I don't think that this feature will become true, in the near future. But it would be definitely a good one, since many people want to have a choice.

I love the blue colors, it's very easier on the eyes and even though I like darker colors I think this layout is just fine.
