I picked team 2 because of Darkrai & Empoleon. Piplup was my favorite Gen IV starter & Darkrai is just cool.

As for Arceus beating everything, not necessarily. If you followed the games more, Arceus would stand more of a chance but in the animé, it wouldn't since grass types can beat fire types(Bayleef vs. Houndoom), electric can be ground(Pikachu vs. Onix), & fire can beat water(Blaine's Ninetales vs. a water type). Plus, Arceus needs the help of a plate to become a certain type & if it encountered a type that was strong against the plate it was holding, it may have a tough time fighting it.

Feraligatr and Charizard will win no matter what. Charizard can use Fire Blast while flying around. Empoleon and Torterra are weak and rather boring. I don't know anything about the two legendaries other than Darkrai looking really creepy.
