It just happened 5 times last night, and 2 times in the last hour. Did anybody see the movie 2012? These little surface cracks can turn ugly very fast.


I think that it might be time for us to say goodbye to the RGR being on the same server as the board, and that could get a bit pricey.
A wise man once told me to say these words to the chosen one, it looks like you're that person!

One or two mysql errors besides the usual server reboot one. The errors just show a black page with mysql error in yellow text I believe it was. Pretty much same errors that everyone else has seen but they only lasted less then a minute each.

the site probally only needs to be backed up once a week and before you test any new scripts or features, so I would agree that you're right in thinking about making it a once a week thing instead.

Though if when you have time to figure out why the site might not like IE7 it might help for people that dont want to update to IE8 (whether for personal reasons or they just dont know how).

Well screens probally wont help in this case, it's really just that every now and then the whole site just wont load pages unless I either close the browser and reopen it or just open a new browser and ignore the old one.
I'll note that other sites do keep working in the same browser session as the Vizzed tab is in, so I'm guessing it must be more a Vizzed thing then a local thing.

I'll note as well that I havnt had torrents or anything like that running while I'm on vizzed so it's not that anything is sapping speed.
I'll be browsing normally on vizzed for awhile and then I click a topic and it just wont load and eventually times out, but I've found that if it does that all I need to do is open a new browser window (closing the tab doesnt change anything, it needs to be a new browser session).
And as I mentioned, I will still be able to visit other sites with the session vizzed wont work in, so I'm not sure of the exact cause.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
