After God creates Man and Woman in Genesis, He gives us specific instructions to care for the Garden and the animals, but why he created the Earth and the Garden remains to be found out.

Someone once said, "we are merely thoughts in the mind of God," so I suppose one could speculate that we're just here because God was in a creative mood. I mean, why do people write stories or draw pictures?

I think we do have a high purpose. Although I think each individual has a specific but different purpose. If humanity as a whole is measured than I say that we are to be stewards on earth.
