So iv'e had people asking me this question for years...cause im a big bond fan, and they always asked me who was the best bond character, iv'e always said it was Sean Connery, but many like Roger Moore, i dont know, so im posting this for anyone who wants to give me their ideas on who was the better bond

Peirce Brosnan, the movies just aren't the same without him. I don't like his role in any other movie though except for James Bond. But I probably think this because I got into the movies when he was starring in them and the fact that most of the James Bond games are based on his role as James Bond.

I'm between Peirce Brosnan and Sean Connery.
Coonnery is better as an actor by far, but Brosnan is more suitable as a Bond.

noelia : I agree, I don't think Peirce Brosnan is a very good actor but he played a great James Bond. Sean Connery on the other hand is a wonderful actor all around and also played a great James Bond, but 2nd best bond in my book.

Well, Connery was the quintessential macho Bond while Moore was the more suave`, Mr. Silky Smooth. IMO, the early years of Bond were the best - it's really a coin flip between the two actors.

The real star? The Aston Martin DB5, of course :p

Sean connery is the only James Bond on my list. All the others are ok but connery seems like he came just out of the Bond books.

I just also wanted to express my respect for Sean Connery as an actor. Because I really like and admire him ¬_¬

I prefer Connery as Bond, but I loved the Brosnan movies. The action in the older movies just doesn't compare to what we have now.

Connery to me is always the best Bond, such a great actor.

Lazenby I liked but I really can't judge him since he only did one film.

I thought Moore was okay, I thought his older Bond work was good but his later ones were terrible.

Dalton I can't really judge due to his two films. Though I guess he did an okay job.

Brosnan was really good as Bond, though I never liked Die Another Day. It felt too cheesy with the whole airplane sequence at the end.

I think Daniel Craig is a pretty good actor, but he forgets the true essence of Bond, he acts more like some action star than the smart and cunning agent James is.

The only bond movies that I really enjoyed were Goldeneye and TWINE. Since Brosnan is the actor in those ones I'll go with him. They were also the only two 007 games that were good. I've always liked Sean Connery though

Pierce Brosnan was made to play that role.
The new guy isnt that bad either. I thought he was going to completely ruin james bond but he didnt.

Everyone get ready to hate on me for it. Daniel Craig. The new Bond. I loved Connery. Brosnan was pretty damn good too....but, Daniel Craig took Bond back to the books. Bond was never supposed to be debonair. He was created as an A hole. He was cold and friendless with no care at all for others save himself. Daniel Craig really embodied that in his films for Bond. Connery is the orignal Bond in my opinion! He was great. The accent...the one liners...his attitude. The new face of Bond though really hits closer to home for me.

Best bond is Roger Moore. That guy had skill and something no other bond had. He made bond fun to watch and added comedy to it in the process. Seriously it was all one big joke to him that is what made it great

Peirce Brosnan's bond movies blow bad, Goldeneye was last good bond movie but they screwed up bad taking it further and making more. Have not seen new bond movies with Daniel but I don't want to either.

I think Peirce got lots of people into bond especially since they spit out a game for it. I was into bond before he made his presence but I remember lots of people jumping on the bandwagon once Goldeneye came out.

1995 was a great year. Goldeneye was an epic movie at the time and N64 was selling goldeneye games like hotcakes.

While Pierce did a great job, I think Sean Bean is underrated he deserves tons of credit for his role as 006! They should make 006 movies now, 007 has been done to death

I think Sean Connery was the best Bond. He is in my opinion the most classic.

I liked Pierce Brosman, because he was in the ones that were made around the time I grew up and I saw his movies more than Sean Connery and the others.

come on,its obviously roger moore i think Timothy Dalton is an underated Bond though,hes my second fave
