I type up to 80 words per minute now when I teake the tests...

But I type a lot slower in posts when I am thinking up what to say, then I type about 55 wpm...

Actually it is because of vizzed that my wpm has raised from 45 wpm to 80 wpm

Maybe 3290 posts just does that to you

I've always sucked at typing. Until 8th grade, I still only picked out the keys with one finger. Funnily enough, it's been Vizzed that has improved my typing speed a lot recently. Before I started posting, I think my max WPM was about 20 or so. But now, because I post so much, I think I'm in the 40s, and nearing 50.

Well, it depends on the language.
In english, I usually type about 55.
In greek it's more difficult(I type about 45 words). Because there are special signs that we have to use over some letters. So typing a word lasts more that in english.

The highest test score I've ever got was 85 Words Per Minute. I took typing classes in high school which really helped improve my speed but I've also been posting on forums for many years and that really increases a person's typing speed, especially when you have a post count like mine.

I've also had data entry jobs and that will really up your speed, more speed more money. I can hit 90+ on a good day and average 85 on any given day.
