DNG : Changing my views a bit to be honest, and it would help and could generate money seeing how it costs more to execute inmates than to keep them on deathrow[which makes no sense at all] Plus if it worked for Medieval times why not now?

Kahelofdoom : I think you got those backwards, it costs MORE to keep a Deathrow inmate alive with the cost of food, clothing, etc. So maybe like a weekly execution in a packed stadium, the gov't charges like 10 bucks a ticket to get in, say 100,000 people pack the stadium that 1,000,000 dollars, plus, if they charge for beer and snacks, that's big money! Boom, no more recession!

It could work if the public was swayed towards capital punishment but there are only a few states that do that now[ Texas and California I do believe were the leading 2] but since the "majority" ,if you can call it that, of people are against capital punishment. Course there are special cases where they've killed the wrong person due to our oh so lovely court system. But the fact remains that the public doesn't really want it and most states have done away with it cause it's "inhumane". Find it messed up to kill 10+ people get sentenced to death row and live a comfy life. Go America.....Course I was thinking of Pay Per View type of thing, seeing how people are lazy and grown accustomed to getting everything in their home.

if you pay to kill a murderer or get some enjoyment out of watching them get killed then you are just as bad or worse than the murderer himself. revenge only makes things worse. (although i realize some of you might be being sarcastic so i appolagize to you lol)

I don't think it's morally right to put anyone's (including animals) death on tv to be watched like you would a sport. Let's just put all the death row inmates and place them on an uninhabited island in a non-disclosed location and let them fend for them selves.
