Apparently Okami is this game that was based off a few Zelda ideas, plus it seems like a cross between Avalon Code and Drawn to Life in my eyes. But has anyone else played it?

I've played it for the PS2.

It's a fun game, I didn't get all too far though.

Though I wouldn't call it underrated, it got quite a bit of publicity in gaming magazines and the like.

I freakin love this game. The whole game is just beautiful to look at and it has some pretty cool features (like the drawing system, which allows you to slash, rebuild bridges, and make bombs out of thin air, along with many other ability's or course). I like the weapon system, which allows you to have two weapons equipped at the same time, a main and sub weapon and each weapon has a special ability (like the Divine beads can be used as a whip if you equip it as the main weapon and becomes a projectile weapon if you equip it as the sub weapon). It's definitely not just a Zelda clone but if you like Zelda you should enjoy this game

Okami had gotten high praise when it was released, kindof in the same legue as shadow of the collosus. It may be invisible now but it is one of the greats when it comes to the ps2.

It takes some time to get used to, but it's pretty awesome. Everything is a puzzle, and there are tons of side quests. To do everything takes a long time, but it is fun and parts are kinda sad. Anyway from what I know it's kind of a cult game; very few people have heard of it but it's highly praised by all that play it. Of course, if you've played it, you know that playing Okami with no skippable animal feeding cut-scenes is an idea that will give you nightmares.
