Now, I'm into Nintendo Power all the way, cuz it's just a more light-hearted magazine with a lot of fan-submitted stuff and the occasional faulty cheat code Lol. But which magazine do you like better and why?

I like GI better since it is less biased in my opinion and I don't have any new Nintendo consoles

I had no idea and had to look it up to realize they still do. Wow what a classic... but for me it's GI as they take a view across all consoles.

GI covers all game systems, so it has a plus there. Also, I like the comments from the staff, they can be very funny at times, especially on the calendar. Also (I don't know if NP does this), I like their yearly Game Infarcer section of the April magazine, it's hilarious! This year's featured previews of the WiiDS (pronounced weeds), Mass Effect 3 (where you can import anyone from any game!), and the Ubi Buddy (so you don't have to be online to play your game. You simply have to have a guy standing behind you, and you have to wait 4-6 weeks to get another after sending him back when you finish playing! Forget Steam!). Also, there were reviews of GATSBY (The Great Gatsby, only the way of Dante's Inferno: who cares what happened in the original, as long as there's violence, swearing, and nudity!) and Demon's Souls 2 (you can't beat the first level, and your weapons desperately want to kill you, but to quote Editor-in-Chief and sole reviewer Darth Clark, "No game this hard can be bad!").

Basically how I feel. They take a look at all consoles and not just Nintendo ones which is good for gamers of all systems. I like Nintendo Power if I'm wanting to look at something specifically for Nintendo. Otherwise GI is better to me due to it offering articles on many different systems.

I myself, am a Nintendo "loyalist" but I can't say I like Nintendo Power that much. I DO like hearing updates and news about new upcoming games, but most of the time Nintendo hasn't really been getting a lot of good games so the reviews and the previews don't really interest me unless it's a first-party, genuine Nintendo game, or it's a game made by trusted, well-known third-party developers... on the other hand... I don't read Game Informer that much, so I didn't answer your poll, but at least I said my opinion right? XD

I like Nintendo Power because it focuses on the games that I like and it has the walkthroughs that I need. I also am not a big fan of GameInformer.

back in the day i loved Nintendo power, but as the consoles progressed I feel that it ended up falling behind.

I personally go to game informer more.

Even though Nintendo Power is amazing, I'd still have to give my vote to Game Informer simply because they cover all the consoles (even though I occasionally disagree with their reviews)

Game informer. I have never read nintendo power before but i've gotten a subscription for GI ounce and it had a ton of stuff like game ratings, all platforms it's on , even a replay rate! I like GI better.

I have many may copies of Nintendo Power. But lately I can't say they have their best work, so yeah. I go with GameInformer.

Game Informer currently reviews games on the Wii, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PC, Nintendo DS, and PlayStation Portable consoles. The reviews of games for the Game Boy Advance and GameCube consoles were discontinued during 2007 because the number of games for both systems were going down.

It also be memorable to see some Nintendo Power magazines, just to see the pictures and the colorfulness. Watching the AVGN shows, I notice he uses a lot of Nintendo Power Magazines, which the pictures and the colorfulness were amazing.

It is also cool to have the magazines which were made during the 4th generation. It brings back the video gaming time in your childhood.

Yep, I go for Game Informer. For me, it's better because it cover a large range of consoles, not just nintendo like with Nintendo Power. It also covers more of the stuff that I find useful, at least in the gaming universe. It was also the first gaming magazine that I ever read, so it set a great influence on me in terms of gaming consoles. Nintendo power is also a great magazine, don't get me wrong, but for this one, Game informer takes the cake.

I prefer GameInformer because its for all systems not just one brand. Plus that was the first game magazine I ever read from way back in the day. I remember every time Id have to goto the grocery store, I would just goto the magazines and read GI and write down the cheats.
