I'd never want to use a hand gun. Actually, here in Canada, we don't have the "right to bear arms". Thank goodness too.

I would like to hunt someday, a lot of people I know do, and I like the idea of killing your own meat instead of letting someone else do the dirty work for you.

Long-barreled guns (like rifles and shotguns) are easier to fire than handguns (like pistols and magnums). I just can't overcome the kickback of a handgun for some reason...

I agree, handguns are rather tricky to learn, especially with the kick.

If you know how to use them right, they can be rather safe, actually. They're only really dangerous in the hands of a poorly-instructed novice. Or someone who wants to kill you, but that's a whole 'nother subject.

Yup, believe it or not when I was like, 7 years old I was allowed at a shooting gallery thing to use 2 weapons for target practice: a what I think was a .45 defender and my favorite, the M4.

I got lotsa bulls-eye's, and I know one day I will be using those two weapons infiltrating some evil HQ ninjalike on day.

Ofcourse I know how to use a gun. Hunting is the main reason, mostly hunted deer or rabbit. I have shot multiple kinds of guns. The most interesting gun that I have personally shot is an AK-47. Nothing too exciting though.

Gotta love hunting though. It's my only reason for ever even using a gun. Other than hunting or shooting skeet, there is no real purpose for owning a gun.
