I'm actually afraid to share my faith sometimes, because my whole life I've gotten such negative feedback from people for expressing my opinion, and when I started to share my faith it got even worse. No matter how polite and positive I am, people always think I'm being disrespectful and threatening. One person who claimed to be an ex-Southern Baptist kept telling me not to threaten her. I wasn't threatening her. I was saying that no matter what, Jesus would be willing to forgive her. How is that threatening?

I'm tired of people saying that Christians push their beliefs on others. We don't. We just care.

But the real reason it's scary for me is because I know that if I screw up I could actually push people away. I have best friends who I don't want to see in Hell.

So lately I've been reading the Bible and working to do better in my prayers so that I'll be prepared the next time an opportunity pops up. I think I'm doing better. :-)

Crawldragon : I know what you mean. It frustrates me all the time when something like that happens to me. I guess it's only natural for some people to reject what we say. The important thing is that you talked about it though. So, at least they would've considered it, and who knows? maybe they've given it some serious thought
