I konw theres a whole lot more Mythical creatures but i only put a few on here because i didnt want there to be like a hundred choices alot of people would get bored reading them all anyway whats your favorite Mythical Creature? if you picked other please explain.

Dragons are my favorite. They are so cool. I think that they are stronger than the others.

Of the choices given I picked dragons because I think the variation in myth and appearance is so interesting. I also like they fey (faeries, pixies, nixies, brownies, etc) but dragons just edge them out.

I've always loved dragons for some reason (was it really that hard to guess in my case? ;p)

I picked other, because my favourites are sirens and succubi. I make jokes all the time that my best friend is a succubus, and so I just started to read into it more and I really enjoy that creature, even if I would get killed by it D:

Unicorns are cool looking, but they are not on the list.

Dragons are the coolest though because they are dangerous, powerful, and strong. Some dragons can be friendly, and those are the ones who are the strongest ones. They can breath out fire, fly through space and time, so facinating.

Witches, magicians, and mages are cool too, with the fire and water casting. But, Dragons are cool.

I think Zeus is pretty cool. He's a god, he's got insane powers, and fits the definition of being mythical to the T. I also like wizards, they have an intellectual mind but are very powerful.

Chimera all the way it has the head of a lion tale of a snake body of a goat is a minus but it could also breath fire.

I picked vampires but its kinda an all way tie. I love every part of mytholigy...even though i cant spell it...

Dragons! I love dragons, they combine the best aspects of everything! They're huge, very powerful, they can fly, and they breathe fire!

Other... How should I answer this, besides just giving the species?

First off, Vampires? seriously? they've been over done and over played and over broadcast to even be considered mythical any more... there are REAL people out there drinking blood because they THINK they're a vampire

Zombies... they're a possibility with all the chemicals and whatnot we devour and breathe every day; it honestly wouldn't surprise me if we ended up with a zombie apocalypse.

Werewolves... They're interesting and all, but if you think about it, you can find just as much, if not more, on werewolves as you can on vampires...

Witches: I don't like that part of history, period. It caused so much panic and so much murder that it's simply sickening. Instead of jumping to conclusions people (even still) need to rationalize and think things through.

Dragons: beautiful creatures but there's plenty for anyone to do research on them; cultural or not.

Ghosts: Sorry, but not fiction as I have seen more than my fair share of the unexplained, if you're curious, PM me.

Fairies: I am Irish, and have very similar beliefs as they, so to me, they are commonplace thoughts.

Pixies: are basically mini Fairies but with a nastier attitude

Mermaids: anyone who has seen one has supposedly died, so I cannot discount this as real or fake, nor will I argue anyone's point.

I simply chose other because I have a fascination with Gryphons. You can hardly find ANY information on them (comparatively speaking) anywhere you look; they're RARELY used in stories, and the closest you get to seeing one in any recent movies is a Hypogryph in Harry Potter. They have always intrigued me because they are so mysterious.

I apologize for my lengthy post, but I'm bored and this is only an opinion thread and I am merely stating opinion.

dragons simply cause there's proof that they have been around

Dragons have always been my favorite type of mythical creature because of the many different ways to spin a tale about them. For example, The Harpers of Pern was a great series about how the dragons would burn thread from the sky, but had no magical powers whatsoever, while in other stories dragon fire was purely magical fire.

A revenant. It's sort of a ghost but it can also animate corpses so it's kind of like a zombie too.

I am different again! I will probably be the only one to say this " Zombies are awesomer than any other mythical creature". That's right, I said "awesomer". Anyways, I like zombies more than any other creature, they are too cool, vomiting black gunk! That's soo.. cool!
