Davideo7 : Could be on a majority of the systems because I just checked a Game Boy Color game (Tarzan to be specific) and I checked Vendetta for MAME and it won't load (I put a screenshot of what I saw in the Retro Arch is working again thread)

Furret : That issue has been fixed.

classgame : Ok so it's version 1.16.0 that doesn't work. Newer versions work but it doesn't default to the newer versions yet. I'll work on getting 1.16.0 to work. I completely overlooked 1.16.0 when I got the newer versions fixed.

Davideo7 : So it's a default issue, guess we need to find a way to keep it from defaulting

The Dynmap is currently down, I had noticed that earlier today when I tried to use it

classgame : I needed to get 1.16.0 fixed anyway. It's now fixed. Setting a version as default is easy on my end, I was just waiting to test out every system with 1.22.2 before I made that default because I would only make it default for the systems that worked with it. I'll be doing that testing today.

So something I noticed regarding screenshot details have they ever really worked because when I did details they never really showed up. Speaking of which I have noticed this on quite a few screenshots lately there's no rating numbers there

Seconded, certain games have screenshots you can't rate.

Adding details to screenshots used to work but not give CP, now it doesn't work at all

So I don't know if this is a me problem or a site problem but yesterday around 3 pm central time I had suddenly gotten a 403 error that said I didn't have permission to access, keep in mind this happened on my default google browser, before it turned into "It's taking too long to load" I tried to get past it with a VPN and I still got the 403 message. Now I tried accessing with a different browser and I still get the message about it taking too long to load, however I turn the VPN on and I can access the site.

I was able to access the site on my phone at my grandmothers house where the wifi is different so it made me conclude that the wifi is the problem (because when I got home it was still taking too long to load). I just hope it can be fixed otherwise this is going to end up being my farewell Tour....De Vizzed because I don't want to have to depend on a VPN all the time now.....or do this on my phone

classgame : Looking at site logs were you looking at music at the time? Something on it might be broke that is causing you without you knowing to view too many pages at once. Normally a security code would show if the site was detecting something.

Davideo7 : Site log shows 50+ queries for video game music pages. Would that cause the site to cause a temporary site ban? I only ask because it shows in yellow so I assume it means something.

Edit probably not query related looking at other stuff. Seems a lot of stuff can have 50+ but also not be yellow. I don't know.

pokemon x : well if this is true then I need to find a way to get lots of CPs and Actions, because rating music might prove to be my undoing (I never saw a security code)

when things like this happen to me I end up feeling so lousy.

classgame : Are you suggesting it's a problem with your WiFi or an IP ban? The site was down yesterday for a little while and I had to restart the server.

If you suspect a temp IP ban, I don't believe that would have been the site's script doing it but rather the server's firewall, in which case, I would need more information such as, what you might have done to trigger the temp IP ban.

Trust me, I don't want this kind of stuff happening to anyone so it's worth my time investigating and fixing.

As for the Screenshot details issue, if I try adding Sonic as a character to some screenshot, for example, and pressing the update details button does nothing. It doesn't change when I refresh, and I don't get awarded CP either

Davideo7 : so it WAS down for a bit yesterday. Anyway I also checked my mothers laptop with the VPN (but that also had the too long to respond thing without the VPN) and I didn't see the 403 message. I actually sent you an email yesterday about what happened with a screenshot of what I saw (and the more I investigate the more I see it's the wifi and my chrome)

I actually did login to this site at my grandmothers yesterday on my phone under different Wifi with no issue. And earlier today my wifi was down briefly and when it did return I was able to access the site on Chrome on incognito mode but it proved to be short lived

And yeah I was rating songs (I would never spam on purpose), in between playing Game Boy Color games hoping to find a screenshot to add to pages and as for the specific game with the Screenshot Hello Kitty no Sweet Adventure. I haven't really done alot of rating today because of my situation

I'm going to say the same thing I said to Pokemon X if I can get on again normally I'm throwing in the towel for this tour this issue has shaken my confidence big time not to mention I don't want to be using the VPN 24/7

Well now that I can access the site again easily I have a new site issue to report, and it was something I noticed yesterday, apparently the playlist page isn't accessible 500 error, even with or without the VPN I couldn't access

So I don't know if this has been reported before, but it seems like if you press the "submit post" button more than once (possibly with specific timing?) it submits your post more than once. I'm not sure why it works that way, but that's something that should probably be fixed, especially since Vizzed doesn't allow you to delete posts.

I don't know is it just me or is the Contribution Points page not up to date? it says 1.0 but I earn 2.6 points (or is it 1.8) when I rate a video (also when I rate a screenshot it never says how many CP's I've earned)

Seems like Video Submitting is still somewhat broken as it does not give any CP. I know SonicOlmstead uploaded a video or two a few months back and still hasn't gotten any CP for it, same with no.8120


classgame : The 1.0 is just the base value for that action. The reason you get 1.8 when you rate a video is because you are in the 1.75x multiplier tier (between 10.000 and 100.000 CP). As for the screenshots, I feel like it would be really annoying if the page kept refreshing while you rate a screenshot, especially if you're on page 3 of a game

Furret : oh well it doesn't really feel honest to me (and yeah I wish they would count for straight to the site rather than just for the Vizzed Youtube page)
