Not sure how many of you remember the Video Game Music Radio, it was a 24/7 music stream that I had going on Twitch quite a few years ago. It would just randomly pick songs from the Video Game Music Room, usually prioritizing high rated songs. It would have different themes each day and each hour, and it would have built in "Name that Game Trivia" and some of the segments even allowed people to select which songs get picked next from the Video Game Music Radio page.

To get an idea of what it was like, it was similar to the music competition streams I use to host years ago (as seen here), except the format was a little different and the purpose was totally different.

So I have 2 questions.

1. Would anyone have interest if I brought it back?
2. If I did bring it back, should I switch to YouTube or continue with Twitch?

EDIT: It's currently live on YouTube here:

I would love to see it return and I think it'd probably get more views on youtube though I don't remember what viewership was like back in the day on twitch.

I was actually kinda leaning toward YouTube as well. Most likely the Vizzed Gameplay Videos channel since that's already got 18,000+ subscribers, it'd probably do the best on there, and it would be a great way for that channel to grow even more, which would result into more traffic hopefully coming to the site.

I do think it'd be very cool to have it brought back, I was never on this site when it was around, I was too young to think about it really.

I wouldn't always have it open would definitely open it up sometimes when I need to focus on something.

Anytime I need to focus I turn music on to block out external distractions.

If you ever want help hosting it though let me know my computer is on almost 24/7 for main and if I really wanted my little side PC could be I just don't know how well a livestream would work without a dedicated gpu. (Used as a personal modded minecraft server when I get the itch so no gpu needed)

I currently have it going right now. Testing it out on YouTube to see what kind of audience I can bring in. Might do tests with Twitch at some point but for now it's on YouTube and live here:

pokemon x : I'll consider it if I experience difficulties having it streaming 24/7.
