Mine was probably 6th grade, it wasn't too hard or too easy, and I was home schooled that year, I would say 5th, but I don't really have as much memory of it, and from 6th grade to now I have been using a different online schooling system which is better.

But what is your favorite grade of school, or was?

I am not sure I can give a specific grade...it was so long ago. Maybe 7th grade? That is when I started dating, that was nice.

I also really enjoyed highschool, especially senior year, when I got to drive to school by myself and I played sports and had pretty easy classes.

I enjoyed the earlier grades too, I think. I was a "gifted" student so everything up until 6th grade was fairly easy.

I'd probably say the ninth grade. First year of high school so lots of new people to meet. Most high schools are way bigger than middle schools so lots of new places to explore. Plus the change in classes going from regular science, math, etc to stuff like geometry and chemistry was fun.

12th grade, hands-down. It's when I became friends with the group of people that are still my best friends today. All of my teachers were really chill that year and kind of just let us do whatever since we were seniors.

There was one day that I brought my GameCube to school and my friend brought a TV and we would just play Super Smash Bros Melee or Mario Kart Double Dash during class. This one kid in the grade below us saw us playing Melee during lunch and asked if he could play with us. We told him sure, but we only had 3 controllers. He responded "that's okay, I have my own" and pulled a GameCube controller out of his backpack. The then proceeded to pick fox and absolutely destroy us all. We also connected the GameCube to the Smart Board in one class before the teacher got there. She thought we were pranking her when she walked in. She was convinced that we just pulled up a video of Mario Kart on YouTube and we were pretending to play. She was wrong.

There were also a bunch of days that year that I brought in my laptop with Guitar Hero III installed and a played Guitar Hero in school. The most memorable instance of this that stands out is when I showed up to school late and everyone was outside because the fire alarms were going off. I pulled out my laptop and Guitar Hero controller while we waited for the fire department to arrive, and everyone took turns playing songs.

So many other reasons too, but yeah, senior year was a lot of fun.

Dauntez: oh don't be scared of 8th grade, it wasn't a school drama thing for me, I was more aware of my surroundings at this point. I'm just pointing out I was happy before I entered the 7-12 grade range. It's kind of sad when I long for the days when Homework was my problem and not crap in the news

My senior year of high school.

I had a solid friend group, I liked everyone in my class and felt like I was a part of it, and most of my teachers were chill.

At the time I was happy to graduate but honestly if I could go back in time for a year I'd happily do it and relive those days.

I liked all of my grades. However a few stand out for me. First, I was 12-15 months older than most of my classmates because of my birthday I had to wait an entire year before I started school. I did not start school till I was 6 years old.

For me it would be 11th grade. The reason being is I turned 18 and was a legal adult. I also had a great year but turning 18 was special for me. Another reason why it was special for me was I almost did not live to see 18 due to an illness.

I also liked 8th grade because I turned 15 and got my learners permit. Yes in 8th grade due my late birthday I was learning to drive.

9th grade was awesome for me because I got a car and started to drive on my own as a freshmen due to being 16.

I'll agree with the general consensus here and say from 11th to 12th is when I was having the most fun and doing the best in my classes. I had a lot of friends in high school and was generally enjoying life, going out with them often and not having too many adult responsibilities... maybe even skipping classes sometimes... I have similar stories as tgags except our engineering teacher actively did not care what we did in the side room as long as we kept the door shut in case security / administration walked in lol

That's tough... I'd probably have to pick grade 11 or 12 as well. I remember elementary being crappy because my sister was being an awful teenager and that made life at home crappy. I also don't really remember much about those grades anymore.

Middle school wasn't great either because my 2 brothers were in high school at that time and they were a pain and made life at home difficult as well.

By grade 11 and 12 I had a girlfriend for both years, my siblings had moved out and weren't causing issues at home as much and I enjoyed the classes and what not during those years.

None of them were my favourite. I never really liked school that much. For me, being a little kid, being in the lower grades (or years as they're called in the UK) makes you a prime target for bullying, and being a teenager, being in the higher grades means you have to "set an example" for the lower years.

I f***ing hated it. I never wanted to be there, but obviously I had to be there.

And my early college years weren't that better either... cus I was on several courses that I didn't want to be on. Yet, I had no real choice.
