The Bleach Anime is getting a new Video Game after 13 years

Well finally 2 days ago Bandai announced a new Bleach game coming to Playstation, Xbox, and Steam.

It seems to be another fighting game kinda like how Dragon Ball Sparking Zero game is going to be.
Despite this I am probably still going to get the game due to being a big fan of the series. My only disappointment is that it supposedly only goes to the Arrancar arc from the Anime. Missing almost half of the overall story. The rest will probably sold as future DLC maybe how the Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC is handled.


Do you plan to get this game? Would you rather it be almost RPG like? Or do you prefer a fighting style game with cut scenes telling the story more?

It’s coming out March 21, 2025. I never got into Bleach myself, but I remember that anime being one of “the big 3” alongside One Piece and Naruto. Good to see that Bleach is still alive and kicking. If they were to come out with a game similar to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot at some point for Bleach, I’d be interested since it would give me an idea of what the anime was like. Of course this upcoming game’s not like that, so I’ll have to pass.

That's pretty neat actually. I've seen plenty of clips of Sparking Zero and thought it looks like fun, so I might approach this game with an open mind and give it a try when it comes out. I'm not the biggest fan of Bleach, but that's mainly because I only just gave it a second try a month ago and am only a handful of episodes in.

I'm not a fan of the series, haven't seen a single episode yet but I do have enough of an understanding of it and was required to review the game for work... And I was disappointed to say the least. As a fighting game it was pretty good but there was so much wrong with how the game looks and plays, like the cutscenes and story.
