Mine was 800$ when I got it, I think it's like 400$ now or something. I might get a new one in Spring though! I'm Excited! I think I'm getting 7, I have the Surface Pro 5, so it's an upgrade.

I built my pc for around $2200. Not sure about the exact pricing and likely the value went down to below $2000 because of the release of newer hardware.

It cost a lot because I went with high-end hardware like the cpu, gpu, and motherboard. With combine, only cost about half of the what whole pc cost (about $1300). The other went into storage space, psu, case, and my triple monitor setup (one of the monitor is a 24 inch drawing tablet though).

I don't not plan on upgrading anytime soon. My pc should last for another 5 years or more.

I think I got mine for around $600? I believe it was on sale and normally would of cost around $750 maybe a little more I'm impressed with with it's power for that amount my grandparents spent more on there's in 2012 and it was awful lol.

Now, I'm just waiting for it to officially die so I can claim it on insurance, since it doesn't work without being plugged in anymore, and the battery is a few hundred dollars if I want to get an official one, rather than a replacement part type.
