I just got a new Keyboard, and it's really cool! I got it for my Surface Pro 5, since my old one stopped working and one of the keys broke, it was the "O" key, it still worked, it just did not go on, or should I say, stay on.

This new Keyboard can Glow, the keys glow, it's RGB colors, so all colors in the rainbow, and of course White, and you can do no glow.

But How Good Is Your Current Keyboard? How many stars would you rate it?

Given how i paid $150 for my keyboard i at least expect it to be good. Trust me, some of these manufacturers will charge a premium just for the brand lol.

My keyboard is a ASUS ROG Falchion, which is a 65% wireless mechanical RGB keyboard. Possibly one of the best keyboards i've ever bought. An amazing wireless connection with little input lag, and fantastic battery life. It can last about a week before needing charge (at 20% brightness). My only problem will be the software. I'm asked to update my keyboard driver way too frequently but atleast its optional.

I would give it a 8/10 stars.

I would rate my keyboard a 5 out of 5. I really like mine because it lights up. I have low vision so a lighted keyboard really helps me. Also the keys are large too so that is a bonus. Overall, my keyboard feels great, smooth, and it is really good.

tornadocam : Thats pretty cool, I mean, I don't think I've seen very many that don't, but, if it's good, then that's all that matters. Also, the keyboard really matters, when I use a better keyboard, I type 20-50% faster.

I've only had to replace the keyboard once and this was about six months after I first got this laptop, some of the keys weren't working so the whole thing had to be replaced, usually when I had to record a gaming video here I would need a special plug in key-board (because we can't change the key commands on Retroarch and the arrow keys on my laptop are too small)

My MacBook has its own keyboard which works fine though because it's five years old, some of the key are a bit broken and slow. However, when I bought my steam deck last year, I also paid like $30 for a small battery powered portable keyboard that I love. If I'm in bed or a hard spot to have my MacBook close to me, I can connect the portable keyboard and have that on my lap while the Mac book is a few feet away.

It also works very well with the steam Deck if I need to type in the browser or want to chat in games. While I'm at work or working on social media/reviews/posts and don't have my MacBook, I connect it to my phone and can use it instead of my phone's trash keyboard.

I got my keyboard back in 2015 and it's still going strong today. It's a Razer Blackwidow Chroma. Every time I think about getting a new keyboard I end up deciding against it just because this one still works so well. It's the most reliable Razer product I've ever owned and I'll be sad if a day ever comes where I can't use it anymore.

I have a EVGA Z20. Of the keyboards I have had in my opinion it is pretty good. I have had it for a couple years now and it still works great. For the most part unless something just feels terrible I don't know what a bad keyboard is even supposed to feel like.

I have a very nice Hyper X full sized keyboard that I bought 4 years ago or so.

I have never had any problems with it, until my cat started to eat the keys off of it. That has been pretty annoying. I paid I think $120 for it back in 2021.
