There are some rock tracks I do like that are instrumentals, CJNU has been playing alot of them, some of them make me feel like I'm being taken back to a different time when I was happy, like the 90s because it feels like I'm in a relaxed state. An example of an instrumental artist is Frank Mills, he performed the song that opens the Elevator Club that is broadcast on Sundays, if there was an option back in the day where you could turn the computer modem sounds into something nicer sounding, I would have picked Heart of the City, it kind of reminds me of the year 1997 even though the track was released in 2001. Also I once told my mother that the most expensive places to eat probably have just instrumental tracks on the speaker rather than stuff on the radio (basically the stingray stations on my end)

Instrumental tracks tend to be a separate playlist for me. I mean don’t take it the wrong way, there’s some good bangers out there, but I don’t want them to be mixed in with my usual playlist.

Like with the music I listen to, usually are oldies are samples of songs that end up in hip hop and r&b. Take for example “Ashley’s Roach Clip” by The Soul Searchers. I mean the beat is so good, the rhythm flows so smoothly and so many artists sampled the song in their tracks. “Paid in Full” by Eric B and Rakim used it well. Another example, probably the most popular, “I Love Music” by Ahmad Jamal Trio. This is one of my favorites being a jazz song and instrumental sample used by Nas “The World is Yours”

Pure instrumentals, usually go for MF Doom and his classic “Herbs and Spices” albums. They’re one of the best instrumentals that I’ve ever listened to from a hip hop artist and I do recommend listening to it. Kava Kava Root and White Willow Bark are my recommendations.

To me instrumentals are a part of my music library, consisting at least 45 percent of my whole collection on Apple Music.

I love instrumental tracks mainly from the 1960's and 1970's. To me I find them relaxing. Some of my favorites are Soulful Strut. This game out in 1969 by Young Holt Unlimited. It was a top 10 hit staying in the top 5 for weeks. Another favorite instrumental I like is Love is Blue that came out in 1968. Then in the 1970's we had a lot of disco instrumentals.

I like instrumental songs way better. Like the FFVII Advent Children track, that is amazing. I'd rather listen to instrumental tracks because they tend to be more epic.

There are a few songs that have lyrics that I like, but that's because not all songs with lyrics are bad, they can be better sometimes.

Even though purely instrumental tracks aren't the main thing anymore, there are still some creations here and there which actually do the trick.

Colorful Monochrome by Masanori Mine is one of my all-time favorite instrumental tracks, that guitar solo played as if it was the main chorus is simply magical. I knew of it thanks to Gran Turismo for PSP, one of the very few games I actually didn't mind playing with music because it was very good overall beyond this masterpiece. If you're feeling curious, go check it in the Game Music page here in Vizzed and enjoy.

Electronic music also has had some nice songs without lyrics, like the world famous Sandstorm by Darude. One of my favorite examples of more modern music is Deadline by Brennan Heart & Dutch Force, a clear example of what true classic euphoric hardstyle is and definitely one of the songs I'd select to introduce anybody to this genre.

So I've discovered alot more awesome tracks since I started this thread, one of them that has become a favourite is Breezin by George Benson, I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing track it's kind of Summer-y, like it's one of those tracks that make me want to get off the internet for awhile and just listen to the radio

I've found as I've gotten older I don't really like listening to instrumental tracks anymore I'm not really sure why that is but I pretty much never choose to unless it's stuck in my head and speaking of music stuck in my head I do have one that's been really catchy for me as of late so I'll link it here.
