Yeah I don't consider reality shows to be game shows, I consider those to be shows that bring out the worst in people

Currently: To Tell the Truth and The Chase on ABC...speaking of the Chase

Past: what else? Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, oh and there was also this obscure one Secrets of the Cryptkeeper's Haunted House, Video and Arcade Top Ten, and Uh Oh (the latters of which aired on YTV) I actually did get to appear on Uh Oh! way back in 1999, but I was a spectator on the Slime Tour but you can easily see me in there

I love Family Feud with Steve Harvy, its such a racket its always super funny.

I love Steve as a host, and the contestants they get seem to be the dumbest of the dumb. Obviously some fantastic clips have come from the show, such as Snoop Dogg's entire fast money segment (pie in the horse!).

I used to go on vacation with my family every summer and we'd always watch an insane amount of family feud in the hotels, which was always a great time.

I love all the current or popular ones like Wheel of Fortune, Millionare, and Jeopardy but some of my all time favorites from when I was growing up include Shop Till You Drop and The Hollywood Squares. There's one show that I really loved back in the day but I've been trying to find the name of it for years.

Oh I actually do like Hollywood squares but just the Bergeron era, I'm surprised that no one is pushing for that to get a revival (but then again we would need a full time center square Bergeron and Whoopi had chemistry)

and as for the name of that show you have no idea of what do you remember from it?

Also personally I don't think Carmen Sandiego should be touched when it comes to revivals, mostly because I don't want youtube to take down the episodes that are there (at least not until the remaining 11 episodes show up on there) besides even they couldn't make a Legends of the Hidden temple reboot for adults work

Presently I really do not have a favorite game show. I have seen clips of Family Feud in its present form via friends on social media, but do I watch the actual show no. Another game I have seen on social media and it is not even in this country. There is a game in Japan called Slippery Stairs were people in different colored suits try to go to the top of a stair case for a prize. The only problem is the stairs have soap and water on them.

However, I did watch a few game shows in the past.

I did watch Family Feud when Richard Dawson hosted it that was kind of funny.

I remember watching Hollywood Squires with Bergeron on it. That was sometimes funny.

When I was a kid there were some game shows on Nickelodan that were really fun.

I think the name of the show was Guts. Anyway it was a show were different teams in different colors competed obstacle courses. Certain teams got so many points. Eventually only two or three teams would be left at the end.

I remember seeing a game show when I was a kid called Legends of the Temple maybe. Each team would get asked questions and have to solve problems. The team with the most points would get to enter the temple to win a prize. However in the temple were guards and traps.

I didn't watch these games all the time in the past. But I remember watching them a few times back in the day.

tornadocam : I won't lie sometimes I have a hard time trying to get some ish of a laugh from Bergeron era Hollywood Squares and yet somehow the best episode keeps being the YOU FOOL episode

I guess it's safe to say you have a type in regards to Children's game shows, I never had a precise type I was fine as long as stuff was happening, Carmen Sandiego never had physical challenges (except the map round) but even so stuff was always happening on screen

Something I neglected to mention I used to watch Celebrity Wheel of Fortune but I quit the ABC Sunday Game shows mostly because they moved Hudson and Rex to Sundays at the same time as the game shows so I had a difficult choice to make....and I can't say no to dogs

I enjoy watching game show clips from time to time, but I don't watch any on a consistent basis. Family Feud produces some entertaining moments every now and then, but most of them usually boil down to the question containing a very obvious sexual innuendo, a contestant giving an answer related to the obvious sexual innuendo (which is what the question was fishing for), and then Steve Harvey doing a surprised Pikachu face. It gets old after the first couple of times.

I do also enjoy watching Jeopardy from time to time, but it's hit or miss for me. For me, the entertainment value comes from trying to guess the answers myself, but often the categories are so obscure that I don't even bother.

When I was younger and used to watch GSN, a show that absolutely enticed me was Lingo, a spelling game with Bingo Elements. Kinda seems a bit ridiculous but it's extremely engaging and really fun to watch. I recently learned that the game show got a revitalization from CBS which is really great to hear, even though I personally don't watch much TV anymore.

I've always been a Jeopardy fan. Having a big general knowledge is an inspiring trait and seeing people react with milliseconds with the correct answer to a little known fact or a tricky riddle about a piece of pop culture or history is always really fun to watch and has always made me want to read into the things I care about and more for the fun of it. I still watch it every now and then.
