I made this thread so I could get some cool replies 'bout scars ya got.

I got one in Elementary school. So in the school I went to, there was this thing the boys did, where a group of boys formed a group that would gang up on one kid for some petty reason and beat him up. There was this one time where me and 2 other kids got this kid cornered, and we stuffed him in the plastic toy bin, and beat the crud out of him. We whaled on the box so hard though, that it violently broke. I was involved in breaking the box, and so in the process, my arm got slashed by a piece of plastic that came careening off. While I used to have it, and it lasted for at the very least a few months, it has since healed. So you could say it wasn't really a scar, but it still lasted for a really fcukin long time.

Anyways, I want ya guys to share any scar stories if ya got any.

Edit: If you include lame stuff like acne and surgery scars, then I do have those. The funny thing about the surgery scar is that it's on my pp. I do have a circumcision, but I also have some stitches that I had to straighten it (it's very bent). I still hate it when I get hard and the stitches act up, so painful, aaggghh.

It's not as much of a scar as it was me being a dumbass kid who didn't know what they were doing, leading me to getting basically injured.

In Elementary School, we had a rule set in place that nobody was allowed to run during Recess because one of the kids fell down and got bruised up really badly. This wasn't super apparent to a lot of us kids and we did it anyways because we're dumb and didn't have Adult supervision for the majority of the time we were out. I happened to be playing Tag with a bunch of kids and I would usually try to leap across tall jumps and just so happened that one of these times I accidentally bumped my foot up against a brick and it was enough for me to fall straight down. Instead of falling on my face, I was quick enough to push my hand up against my body. The problem was my body was so large it basically crushed my hand flat due to how fast I was going.

I was basically in shock for a good majority of it, my vision was blurry and I could barely see. People called in the nurse to have me get checked out of the school cause I basically broke my hand on the trip-up. I felt so embarrassed, but it got me out of PE for like 6 months cause I had to wear a cast around my arm for the time.

I most probably have a scar from a surgical operation I had nearly 15 years ago. I think it's probable because it still itches from time to time, like when I'm nervous or something. And I say probably, because the operation was on a place hidden from sight and so I have no way of confirming it.

I do have a "natural" scar on my right knee. I used to play tennis a lot in my childhood up until my teenage years, when my disease forced me to cease any physical activity. In one of those days I was practicing, my teacher got serious at our urge to see some level close to professional, and when I tried to keep up the pace, I fell to the ground face first. Since we played on clay I did slide a bit and that caused a relatively big wound.

I don't remember how old I was, but I could have been at around 8 at most. For a lot of years the scar was perfectly visible, as there was a newer patch of skin on my knee, but it's now almost invisible if I didn't know it's there.

I have a scar on my left middle finger that's shaped like a frowny face from when I tried to cut my own bagel when I was 6 it was a pretty deep cut I always manage to see, otherwise most of the other scars I have are acne related, but some of those manage to go away on their own

I have a few scars from surgeries.

I have scars on my abdomen. You see I had hernia/acid reflux disease. 3 years later I had gallbladder surgery. I have about 4 scars there. They are small but they are there.

My biggest scars are on the side of my head. I have a scar on each side. You see I had brain surgery to remove a tumor. They had to use clamps to hold my head in place while they operated. This has left me with two scars on the side. Even though I am bald on top. I have a little bit of hair on my side which I like because it hides the scar.

I also have internal scaring of my sinuses and lungs. This is due to my auto immune disease causing infections since I was real little.

Anyway that is the scars that I have.

The only scar I have that is visible is on the upper part of my arm, where I burned myself years ago and there is still a little section that is messed up a bit.

I have only had surguries in my mouth to get teeth pulled and such, and as far as I know those do not leave scars.

I got a good one. It started off in kindergarten where they had this steering wheel on a wooden bench and one day I was on it pretending like I was driving a vehicle. Little did I know is that when I got up to drink some water and sat back down, a nail impaled me on the right bottom of my buttock and I was deep in there. The nail was so deep that I actually had to go to the hospital and have it removed by the doctors with me drinking a bunch of Hi-C to levitate the pain and hold my tolerance. Now these days I have a pretty good scar on the right bottom cheek and even though it’s clearly unnoticeable, even I forget I have it at times, whenever I do shower and such, I remember that incident so well and how painful it was for me as a six year old.

I also got another scar(s) on my index and middle finger of my right hand. That was during my construction days where I aimed incorrectly to hit a large plank with a sledgehammer and it scraped off a bit of my skin from my fingers. It was painful but didn’t warrant a hospital visit due to it being just a large scrape of skin. Some proper treatment and healing was needed of course and now I look at my finger and see how those two scars correlate with each other as they go across both fingers.

Last bit of my story is bite marks from a dog. When I got my dog, I was feeding him his usual dog food but my friend’s dog (I was roommate with him at this time) kept eating the dog food even though he has his own bowl. I took it away immediately and that was a huge mistake. His dog immediately started to charge at my dog (who was a pup at that time) and was ready to bite him but I intervened immediately and he started biting my wrist so hard it punctured through my skin. I held him down with adrenaline running through my body and I didn’t feel the pain. I was making sure he calmed down before I let go and put my pup into my room so he’s safe. It was after a minute or so when I started feeling the pain of the attack and my back started hurting so bad from the adrenaline rush that I experienced. Looking at my wrist now I do have bite marks from the attack.

The last one, rather short, is obviously my knees. Groaning up playing in the park and streets, you know most of us got scrapes on our knees from playing too rough. These days kids won’t know the experience of having scarred knees with them playing video games or on their phones.

becerra95: The last one is very true. Starting to miss the times I played with my friend, while we walked barefoot on the scorching concrete. I wonder if our rock collection is still around? I should go check next time I visit the Mosque, but I bet I'll look like a big idiot, hahah.

While I've had bruises on my knees, they never left a permanent scar. Probably because I wear pants so much.

I have a scar on my lip from being born with cleft lip and palate it's pretty annoying to look at at least to me, I also have a scar on my hip from when they took a part of my hip bone out and put it in my mouth to try and cover up the hole in the roof of my mouth which they failed at so good job guys.

I used to have a scar on my leg from having my leg against a tire while riding with someone on a bike and that was a really painful one to get but I can't even see it anymore.
