It's been a generally long while since I've touched this site, it's always been in the back of my mind and always wanted to revisit this place as I was an active member of Vizzed since I had made my first account back in 2012-13 as Lugiaboy, and now It's been well over 2 years since I've last said anything. What happened?

Well simply, I kinda just grew up. I'm 23 now, turning 24 this year. I had a job as a Graveyard Shift Gas Station employee, left after I realized it was affecting me badly with my mental health. Been through a lot of things like losing friends and getting Corona, I'm now currently dealing with Bronchitis, been trying to expand my horizons a bit and I started to work as an artist. I've been all the better for it. Although wouldn't say I'm financially stable, that part has yet to be seen.

I've always wanted to check back in to see how everyone here has been doing, though I miss how the old days of the site used to be pretty sprawling and lively. I see a fraction of active users here now and days and it's a bit sad. Being that I was a lot younger it really helped me to appreciate things as I grew older and I really did take this place for granted when it was still much fresher in my mind.

Maybe one day this place will get a massive revitalization and it'd be pretty great to see something like that, but for now I'm just kind of lurking around and maybe I'll get the chance to see something new pop up every once and a while. Thanks again for the memories Vizzed.

EX Palen : To be fair Twitter is just a toxic trashfire and honestly I can't really stand to be on it unless it's to post art. I just remember how inclusive and nice this community was and always makes me go "Damn I really miss this place" and just tend to lurk to see how things are going. Maybe if this place becomes popular again I might just switch back to using Vizzed who knows Haha.

A bit of irony is I have seen you around and I think you were a Moderator back then(?) I known you since when I was still under one of my other accounts. I made like 4 or so in the past 10 years cause I couldn't remember my password for whatever reason so yeah. I finally just stuck to one thankfully.

The whole thing about having to audit your 1099k recently went into effect and I wasn't making 20k a year so it became a huge blow to me as a small artist. I try to think about applying for a new job but none of them really ever interested me, and the things I do want to go into work for are practically miles away so I literally cannot. As an autistic person there's so little things that now and days I really feel comfortable working in and being an artist is one of them lol

I admit I have a lot more going on in my life then what I mentioned but didn't want to sound pessimistic and hateful or anything of the such, I am glad at least there is some people still from the old days even though it's a lot less then it used to be.

tornadocam : Unironically speaking getting Covid to me really was such a scary thing. I had gotten the Covid shot and was careful but I still managed to get it. I'm thankful even after getting Covid twice I don't think I sustained any of the Negatives.

But yeah, I'm happy at least to check in and talk sometimes if I actually can. I know I really enjoyed spending time here. I sadly might of not known you myself but hopefully you're doing a lot better mentally, as somebody who's suffered through anxiety and his own demons.

Barathemos : In fairness I was all over the place so I'm surprised if a decent amount of people even knew me when I was on that account back then, or even the accounts that I hadn't mentioned. I absolutely agree, I will admit it's not really nostalgia as much as I enjoy actually being around the people here lol

I don't really have too much going on now and days, aside from doing art and playing video games so I'm practically free, who knows? Maybe I'll try to become a Moderator or Admin one of these days. I probably won't disappear like I did a few years back haha

While I did enjoy working at the job with how laid back it was, I've had many cases where I couldn't even keep a social life and practically became a recluse. It didn't help that I started to believe people stopped caring about me because I wasn't active anymore. When you have abandonment issues, these things really tend to weigh in honestly.

And same! I'm really hoping it becomes somewhat popular again like it was in the early 2010's, probably some of my favorite memories were made during those times. Rose tinted glasses maybe? I dunno, but regardless I'm still happy to see some of the veterans around just like back in the day.
