What are your funniest stories that have happened to you in sports games?

I didn't play sports games a lot as a kid (besides WWE games) but during my teen years I really got into the Madden and NCAA Football series and the Madden that really got me hooked was Madden 13 and my funniest moments in that game always seemed to happen on the Wii U version when I'd play my uncle I always played as the Seattle Seahawks and he'd often try different teams but almost every single game he'd manage to injure Russell Wilson in some horrible way where they'd show him getting carted off the field just for him to be on the field the next play and he would always be so pissed that he'd just be fine but the weird thing was it only happened with Wilson anytime his QB got injured they'd miss time in the game, so that combined with how often I would win on hail mary passes my uncle definitely thought the game was rigged against him.

For some reason one time on NCAA Football 12 me and my uncle decided to put a bunch of custom music in and I left my room for a bit while he was setting it up and for some reason he put the Inuyasha theme to play when the pregame was happening and I can't even explain how hilarious it was to us I never changed the song from that so sometimes over the years I forget about it and decide to play the game and get caught off guard by I want to change the world!

I doubt anyone has heard of this next game but at one point I was desperate for a football game to play on pc so I started playing Jerry Rice's Dog Football and the game is easily the worst football game I've ever played but the fact the best wide receiver let his name be put on the game is amazing to me. At first I really sucked at the game but eventually I figured out the cpu was just terrible at defense to the point where I could always outscore them with minimal effort while I worked on my doggy defense skills but then I realized it was actually super easy cause the ball would often ricochet when the dogs failed to catch it so I could just intercept it.

For the last story that's coming to mind one time I did a career as a head coach in Madden 20 and in the 2nd year I drafted a kicker named Spencer Pearson cause of his name and no I'm not going to elaborate on that but he ended up being the best player I ever drafted anytime I moved to a different team I'd always sign him if he was a free agent or trade for him cause my qb's always ended up injured and he was amazing as a qb to the point that he ended up winning me a Super Bowl as my qb.

I got a good one regarding to a classic.

Let us start with the year 2009. I have a PlayStation 2 and was playing Raw vs Smackdown 2006. It was a pretty fun game and always be playing Hell in the Cell with my younger brother. Anyways one day we were messing with intros and theme songs for the wrestlers and we had an idea for The Undertaker. We swapped his theme entrance and music to Scotty 2 Hotty and oh my god this was the funniest thing we’ve ever seen. Imagine watching The Undertaker going down the ring dancing and the camera bouncing around with Scotty 2 Hotty’s theme song. It was one of the best things we’ve done to the game.

I have a funny one mine occurred in MLB 2003 for the original Play Station.

I was playing the game and threw the ball to the pitcher so I could run onto first base before the runner and get the runner out. While I got the runner out. I ran into the first basemen in the game. The two players said ow as they collided. To most this would not be funny. But what made it surreal was I was playing as the Colorado Rockies. The Rockies have done plays like that in real life, which made it even more funny. Basically, I did something in the game that my team has done in real life. I was like am I playing the game or am I actually watching a Rockies game.

Okay this was like 10 years ago on fifa 14. I was playing against my older bro with two clubs in Mexico. I was playing as “Pachuca” and he was “León” and we were just playing our hardest against each other. Tell me why, when I had the ball and was going to score, my person gets clotheslined by his defender I kid you not. I was like “yooo penalty!” And he was like “no he got ball” and I told him to watch the replay and sure enough, he got clothesline by the arm and he flipped over and such. We busted out laughing because who in the world puts wrestling mechanics in a soccer game?

Man, you got me laughing with those stories! Especially the Inuyasha theme song part! I can just imagine the dramatic anime opening playing while gearing up for a serious football match, LOL.

I remember playing FIFA with my buddies back in the day, and this one time we decided to mess with the game settings for the heck of it. We crankedup the speed to the max and toned down gravity. You can probably guess where this is going... The result was something like Quidditch mixed with soccer. Players floating around, trying to head the ball which floated mid-air like a helium balloon. Our sides hurt from laughing so much!

Then there was the time when I was playing NBA 2K with a friend. We were in the last quarter, 1 second left, scores tied. I tried to shoot from my half of the court, praying for a miracle, and BOOM! It went in! The funny thing? It was my player's worst shooting stat, and he had defenders all over him. Talk about beginner's luck!

Lastly, not quite the same thing, but it cracks me up every time I think about it. I was playing Wii Sports bowling with family. My grandma, who'd never tried video games before, wanted to give it a shot. She wound up the remote, released the "ball"... and instead of swinging her arm forward, she somehow managed to toss it backward, sending her Mii character spinning with the ball. We all had a good chuckle.

Your story about drafting a kicker as a QB and him becoming your superstar had me in stitches! That's one for the Madden history books. Who needs a proper QB when you've got Spencer Pearson, amirite?

So me & Matthew were playing capture the dragons egg, but then when we one the game, it just so happened that a Lamborghini without a muffler drove right past us, & then Matthew said "Lamborghini for the win!"
