I'm thinking about hosting a month long Minecraft competition next month. It'd most likely be a building competition but I'm open to any idea. It'd also be good to utilize the new features in some ways. It also needs to give users a reason to come on the server often, to help get the traffic active on it. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm also willing to invest some money into it. Maybe like US $100 for 1st place and US $25 for 2nd place.

I like the idea of having another month long competition especially with money involved but I don't think building is the way to go I hosted a several month building competition when the server was at it's best where people were on everyday and it was set up where if 10 people competed the prizes got better and even after extending it we just couldn't get 10 which reminds me I really need to get the results for that done. At the moment nothing is coming to mind on what a better competition is though I wouldn't rush it cause if anything I wonder if April would be better for it since in April the server will turn 8 years old.

I'd be up for something but I'm not really sure what my idea would be.

I'm currently working on a build but I don't know if I'll be remotely close to done even if this happens in March.

Other than a building competition I don't really know what we could do honestly.... it's Minecraft. What else is there to do on a basically vanilla server than build?
