I fixed and enhanced the RetroArch Web Player emulator on Vizzed (the primary HTML5 emulator in the RGR). It recently stopped working properly on mobile devices including phones and tablets. This has been fixed. It has also always had issues where it randomly doesn't work in the browser and you therefore have to restart the browser to get it to work. This has also been fixed. I also added a few various buttons that popup if the script is detecting that you might be having issues with the emulator. The games should also now load faster and possibly even play better, thanks to a few tweaks.

Most users might not be aware that most of the games in the Retro Game Room are playable on mobile devices. A while back I had created my own touch game pad that appears on your phone/tablet when you choose to play the games on a mobile device but you're also not limited to just using the touch screen for gaming, you can sync a controller to your phone/tablet and use that as well. Of course the games work in almost all internet browsers on a desktop so be sure to check it out if you haven't ever done so:

I also changed the way games play on Vizzed. For the RGR Plugin games, they popup in a window just like they use to years ago, so no more opening up in a new window. For all the other forms of emulation, they also now open up in a popup window but at a bigger scale.

Davideo7 : Very innovative there! I wasn't aware that the HTML5 emulators weren't working, keep up the good work mate!

There's still the issue with flash ending on December but hey, I know that can be solved, only time will tell.

Blazer 31 : One of my solutions is to get the RetroArch emulator to be advanced enough to be able to replace the RGR Plugin all together. If I can get my own Vizzed build of RetroArch, that'd be the best solution since it means users don't have to download anything anymore and it means that the 'Vizzed RetroArch' works in almost all browsers on almost all operating systems for almost all devices. That'd be some crazy compatibility

Davideo7 : My my that's one heck of an idea! Not only will you be able to make the games space free (they won't be downloaded to take up computer TB), you probably won't even need to be concerned with constant changes to the site's plugin, since that takes a while so the only thing you'll need to be concerned with then (if possible) is updates to that one plugin from time to time.

That's very ambitious of you man, but I like ambitions so crazy, it might just work ha ha!

One thing that is very recurring though is some games entirely still continue to still outright close entirely with gray screen and emulator closed message, still hoping instances of that would be fixed. Also vizzed needs to add the full version of twinbee 3, the current one is just a demo version

castlevania rondo of blood does the 'emulator closed' bit when a save data is present

tg cd zero wing unconditionally does 'emulator closed'

the default version of joe and mac/caveman ninja is missing some files, thus won't work, but initial download and playing other clones work fine.

parodius nes untranslated also does 'emulator closed'

I haven't played much else here that has those errors.

I can't get the plugin to download.

I've been trying to download the RGR plugin, but I keep getting an error that says my computer appears to be missing some requirements and the download stops.

I have Windows 10 and I downloaded the Visual C++ so I'm really not sure why it won't download.

This is a new laptop for me and I haven't had problems downloading the plugin in the past so I was wondering if there is something else that newer laptops might be missing that I need to do for it to work.
