Because of the COVID-19, most kids have been having to do their learning from home. Monday-Thursday of every week for the past few months now, I've been having to invest a lot of time into helping them with their school work. I'm basically their teacher for those 4 days. And with my son having a learning disability, it makes it very difficult, time consuming, and sometimes stressful.

So, this is why I haven't been investing as much time into the site over the past few months. I never got around to making a thread about it earlier (oops). They've only got a week left though so in about a week, my activity will go back to normal. I don't plan to have them do the public school home school curriculum next year (they predict this will happen again next school year), I'm instead going to have them do a real home school curriculum which means less of my time and more efficient learning for them.

I figured that was why. It's been a weird situation for everyone and naturally your family takes priority so there's no reason to feel bad about a decrease in activity over that period of time.

Davideo7 : my female friend has being out of work that since march 25 and being with her 2 kids and her girlfriend too. we have no school into fall here. i will try get people joined here on vizzed. from me, i would come on more but i play alot different online games you don't have. like wizard101 and final fantasy 14 online and yugioh duel links off from steam and my mobile.

I agree with Furret. I've seen how tough the homeschooling thing is firsthand because my parents have had to help my brother through that. It was quite tough for my parents to dedicate so much time to helping him with fractions and all that fun stuff. He also has certain conditions that make it hard for him to learn. :/

Thankfully I was able to get my kids each a cheap Laptop (Microsoft Surface Pro 5) with their stimulus money and so that's helped out a lot with their school work.

Once summer break starts up for them, which is a week, my activity will increase but I do plan to spend a lot of time with them this summer so I would say that I'll probably be spending maybe 24 hours on the site a week. Normally I end up spending 32-40 hours on the site a week, sometimes more, but over the past month or so I've been spending as little as 16 hours.

Anyways, I look forward to posting more, which is something I've been meaning to do a lot more of

Davideo7 : That's good! My brother got a Chromebook for his school work, which we returned to the school right after the school year was over since he'll be in middle school next year lol. That sounds like a good balance with time on the site and time with your kids I'm on less than I used to be because I've been making more time for my family than I used to. It's been a blessing!

I look forward to seeing you post more! I won the VCS but I'll still be active XD And I hope others will be too since people might still be at home a lot.
