There are so many reviews on Vizzed and my question is how many of them were written by you?

Back when I first started being active I used to write reviews all the time, like 50 a year but then even those started slowing down until recently.

With the 2 that I wrote yesterday, I am now at 185 total reviews, hoping to pass 200 soon.

What about you? Have many have you written?

I have never written a review before so I wouldn't even really know where to start with writing one but I am thinking about writing one at some point after TdV I think since I think it would take me a while to decide what I want to review in the first place. XD

You know....I never counted how many reviews I have done. I know I did a lot but sadly I wont be able to pin point the right number for that. I may need to go back to my threads to count them. XD

zanderlex : although I have taken and assigned many screenshots for games I have never taken the time to try and do a review for any since they require going into many details such as the graphics game play and many other parts in the game although I have thought about it from time to time I just don,t know if I would ever have the time to do one

I've only gotten around to doing 5 reviews ever at the time of me writing this so not to great yet but hopefully as time goes on I can start doing them a bit more often.

I've counted 17 reviews on my profile. Honestly more than I remember, I'm normally not really a review kind of guy.

Most of them are Ace Attorney or Mario related. I'm passionate about Ace Attorney so it's easy for me to write about them and show ups and downs. I'm still eagerly awaiting a new installment.

As for Mario, usually those games are pretty simple so reviewing them is more enjoyable and less stressful than some other games.

I have 31 reviews to my name. I thought it was a big number, but then I realized I have the same number of guides posted, so it doesn't seem that big now.

Even though I'm mostly focused on non-RGR games, I think I actually have a balanced number between RGR and non-RGR reviews. This is because retro games are easier to write about for being less complicated and, in general terms, deep.

I don't think I'll have that number go higher, it's been quite a while since I last thought of writing reviews. Then again, the future is uncertain, so we'll have to wait if I suddenly want to keep matching my number of reviews and guides xD

EX Palen : I guess in your case 31 guides would be a lot more impressive than 31 reviews because of the general word counts.

I've done at least 25. I know it's been more than that because I competed and won a TdV and I'm sure I did 1 a day for the entire month. I'm also sure I've done other reviews on off months because I really enjoyed a game but I don't remember doing it for sure.

I couldn't figure out how to count my reviews above 25 though

zanderlex : okay, I knew I had more than 25 but I tried a few times to figure out how many I had and couldn't figure it out.

Still, I was expecting a few more than that honestly. Not 100 or anything but at least 40-50.

I've posted fourteen reviews on here, but there are a lot of drafts or
fragmented notes for reviews I've written that I decided against posting.

A lot of them I think are just bad, not informative enough, not understanding certain parts, or too overly negative.
Yet despite how scathing I might have been, I would still give it a good rating. (cough, cough, IGN)
I just really hated trying to 'rate' the game as it never really measured how I felt about it or even how good it really was.

There are some reviews I wish I could go back and rewrite, like the Mega Man Zero review,
especially since I didn't even beat the game when I wrote that.
I still agree with the overall points I made, but that was not a well written review.

It's probably better I just delete all of them.
I won't though.

What it looks like in the past doesn't matter.
What you do in the moment makes more sense.

I think I wrote one years ago and it's not very good. I thought I'd experiment a little with it but I'm not much of a writer. I've recently considered giving it another go but I have a hard time putting into words what I like about a game without having someone to discuss it with.

I'm not sure how many of them are actually considered reviews though. I've done anime reviews and first impressions also.

I've got 27 reviews, I think, and it appears 25 of them were "featured" reviews, which is pretty cool, since I tend to review mostly popular games.

May not be a lot, but I've always been a quality over quantity type of person.

I don't know the exact number, but I've written and posted over 30 reviews on Vizzed! One of the older ones dates back to 2015. And I hope to write some more eventually.

I've written... maybe 3 or 4 reviews in my lifetime. Only one or two are on Vizzed (I know of at least one, though I feel like I've done another before). I plan on writing another one sometime this month, for obvious reasons, though I did plan to write down my thoughts on this game somewhere anyway. I may end up making a thread for anime reviews as well, as I enjoy being able to write my thoughts down somewhere since I have a lot of trouble organizing my thoughts without that.

I just did 2 more reviews this month and now I'm sitting on 192. I got a handful of review codes for Switch games in order to give video reviews, but I might also do a couple reviews here to get my score up. I should be able to cross the big 200 mark by the end of the year if I can start working on those soon.

Since my last post in here I've added a grand total of.... 2.... yeah I don't review games much on the site I'm not the most confident writer I'm really casual so things like reviews are quite hard for me to write even if I do enjoy it at times but since it's a tour de vizzed month I think it's safe to expect that total to increase some.

SonicOlmstead : It seems like almost everyone's taken a break and putting out fewer reviews than what it used to be like. Heck I originally planned on my Pokemon Sword review being my 200th and I wanted that to be posted last year but I couldn't bring myself to write more reviews to cover the gap to 200.

Right now I'm on the verge of finishing my 194th review. I still have another 500-800 words to put into it so I think it should be done within 2 or 3 days.
