This is something that came to me while I was in the shower. If you had to pick a list of Pokemon to be completely removed from, as if they never existed, which would you pick and why?

It's not my least favorite Pokemon, but it has no reason to exist. That Pokemon is Flapple. There's 2 reasons why I feel this way.

Reason 1: It doesn't have it's own signature gigantamax form. It's literally the same as Appletun's. That form looks more similar to Appletun than Flapple.

Reason 2: The apple evolution gimmick for both Sword and Shield. They should've just had Appletun be in both games and be done with it. Flapple's just there as an extra pokedex entry, nothing more.

Those are the reasons why I believe Flapple's the most pointless Pokemon of all time and is the one I'd remove all together.

I would remove dunsparce, I just have never really liked it and with the reveal of drampa at the time many ended up speculating that it may be a possible evolution for dunsparce but that ended up not being the case. Kinda reminds me of alomomola and luvdisc. I just feel like it isn't really needed and it isn't that great either in terms of either in battle or it's appearance. The shiny it has is not much better but I think it makes it look slightly cuter than usual and that's about it so even it's shiny isn't really worth hunting for I believe, unless you are absolutely set on getting it of course.

So I have many pokemon that I would consider erasing but I'm going to start with Skitty and Delcatty they don't even really look like cats to me. The next pokemon I would delete are Plusle and Minun I have never been that big a fan of Pikachu knock offs but these two started it and I dislike them for it a lot. As I scroll down the pokedex the next pokemon I would throw out is for sure Castform it's weather gimmick is pretty boring as well as it's design in my opinion. Now for my most controversial pick to throw away is the Bagon line yep I said it and yeah I don't like Salamence fight me it's a boring normal dragon design. I don't think anyone is gonna disagree but next to go would be the Finneon line. I didn't know if I would wanna throw out any legends but I kind of forgot Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie I would throw all three of them out since I don't feel they add anything. This is Pixelmon's fault but I'm 100% throwing out Victini it spawned every 5 mins in a world with friends one time it got really old and annoying. Next up is Patrat and Watchhog because honestly they are some of my least favorite early rodents. Next is the best thing they ever did in Sword and Shield which is of course without a doubt is removing the awful elemental monkeys all 6 of them would be the first pokemon I would cut if I didn't go down the pokedex in order. I gotta say of all the gen 5 pokemon that feel like reruns of older pokemon my least favorite is probably Swoobat and Woobat like just give me Zubat back please. My next two choices are Quilladin and Delphox which being starters I'm sure won't cause an angry mob to come after me. Next I just despise Diggersby it's just so ugly I don't know why it's in the game I just wanted a cute rabbit. I would say Pyroar is a huge nope to me anytime I see it so I would cut it based on design alone. I honestly just have no clue what they were going for with Aromatisse so if anyone wants to tell me that would be great. Binacle and Barbaracle have always been some of my least favorite pokemon just from the first time I saw them I just want to KO them as quick as possible. I'm not a fan of the frozen coffee table known as Avalugg, I'm sorry but that's all I can think when I see it. Next I would get rid of every ultra beast except Poipole because they don't feel like pokemon to me. I have to get rid of Zeraora based on how bad it's movie was to me. Next for me is the entire Sobble line from day one never liked it and as it evolved it only got worse, and now its a giant tower... yay. I would be so happy if Skwovet never was in another pokemon game it's just so boring to me. I would also not want Impidimp in another game I just don't see a pokemon when I look at it. So this reason is entirely personal but Sirfetch'd made me unable to sleep when it was teased cause of how loud the cry was and I have hated it before I even knew what pokemon it was. I know it's not even in the game yet but honestly not a fan at all of Calyrex it just looks weird to me. I just realized I missed Pachirisu, Emolga, and Dedenne and I really just dislike these pikachu rip offs. Also all of this is just my opinion so feel free to disagree.

Oh boy there's quite a few. Some of them for more rational reasons than others but whatever. Not sorry if any of your favorites are in this bunch, I just don't like them.

I wouldn't scrap any from the original 151 Kanto Pokemon. Not because I'm a huge fan of gen 1 but purely because I don't think there are any bad Pokemon there. It by no means is my favorite set of Pokemon but they're all average at worst. And they've kind of cemented their spot by now.

From gen 2, which is the region I'm nostalgic to, I would scrap Cleffa. Not including Igglybuff on this as I have fond memories of Igglybuff through playing Mystery Dungeon - Explorers of Sky. But Cleffa on the other hand has never really served a purpose to me. It's just kind of there to be there.

Part of me does want to say I'd scrap Houndoom after several less than fortunate occurrences using the thing, but I'm impressed enough by its design that it will barely get a pass.

I will 100% vote to eradicate both Tyrogue and Smoochum. Tyrogue because he is just plain ugly and is a pain in the ass to evolve, and Smoochum because she feels so unnecessary. Back in Gen 1 you would always view Electabuzz and Magmar as like a pairing, and they always tried to throw Jynx in with them as some sort of third wheel. That never really worked for me and it's the same with Smoochum over here.

From gen 3 I would love to see Masquerain go. I'm not a fruit eater in general but even the smell of an orange can make me nauseous and/or puke. Masquerain's wings just kind of remind me of orange slices and that is my sole reason for hating it.

Eliminating Volbeat because Illumise is thicc and deserves better than that fatty Volbeat.

Removing Castform because it's nothing more than a gimmick.

From gen 4 Wormadam can go because she's just ugly and I only really like the different forms on Burmy. Mothim is just so much cooler.

In gen 5 I wouldn't mind seeing Patrat and Watchog go. They are the single most disgusting rodents we've ever had and the world would be a better place without them.

I don't hate the monkeys as much as most people but Simisear is kind of really ugly, like more so than the others. He can go too.

In gen 6, and oh boy I'll catch flack for this, but I really don't care for the entire Froakie evolution line, including the oh so popular greninja. I just don't see the appeal here. I mean the design is alright but I think it's just this wave of undeserved attention he receives that puts me off.

Diggersby is the second most disgusting rodent and such a letdown from Bunnelby. Bye felicia.

Aromatisse and Barbaracle are both in my bottom 5 Pokemon list because I think they just look awful. Spritzee had so much potential as a little flamingo and look at it now.

In gen 7 Incineroar can go because he was such a downgrade from how cool Torracat looked.

I'm not including gen 8 Pokemon in this as they're too recent for me to judge, so my last entry is the mythical Pokemon Zeraora, the electric monkey looking one who is both irrelevant and ugly.

So there you have it, sorry not sorry.

Nah for real though, I'd probably get rid of Volbeat and Illumise. Those things are damned worthless and they're an eyesore everytime I have to lay my eyes on their god-forsaken images in any Pokemon game. I don't even have a reason to hate them, it's completely irrational. But I despise their very existence.

Ooh, I'll eliminate one from each gen too!

From Kanto... I'm loathe to remove any pokemon, because I think the original 151 are perfect. But I need to be fair. The Pokemon I like least here is Grimer (and thus, Muk). I don't feel they add anything to the series until their Alolan variants and frankly, they can just give a different pokemon that.

From Johto, I'm going with Hoppip. Not only is its evolution also almost entirely useless, but I have way too many memories of running into these things all the time. More annoying than Zubats, because while Zubats can kill you if you aren't using potions constantly in Mount Moon, Hoppips are just a chore. And they give crap for EXP.

From Hoenn, I'm choosing Spinda. The only thing unique about it is the fact you can catch like 8 different patterns in Emerald. And they all suck.

From Sinnoh, I choose Rotom. Because if Rotom didn't exist, then it wouldn't become the most annoying Pokedex in the world in later gens. Sacrifices were made.

Everything from Unova. If I have to choose one, Klink. It's literally just gears. That is not a pokemon.

From Kalos, Dedenne. It's just a crappy less useful version of Pikachu.

From Alola, I'm choosing Stakata, although you can choose any UB pokemon and I'm fine with it. I just think his design is the worst. It's basically a four sided brick house.

Finally, from Galar, I am going with Perrserker. Meowth didn't need an alternate evolution. At all.

I could name nearly 100 Pokémon I'd wish to get rid of (mostly alternate formes), but such a list would be way too long for me to write so I'm going to pick the one I sincerely hate;

Ash-Greninja. Its shameless narcissism at its ugliest and finest. Making a Pokémon based after a trainer in the series is one of the worst concepts imaginable. What's next, Beavis-Greninja or Butthead-Greninja? Normal Greninja is fine (albeit exceedingly overrated), but it should seriously drop Protean in favor of Skill Link. If its signature move Water Shuriken hits multiple times, it should be able to get the most out of it.
