What's your record for consecutive hours being a wake? In March 2018 I went to PAX and we didn't stay at a hotel, we just went there and then went home. If I had to estimate, I'd put it at around 39 hours.

Right now I'm in my 2nd longest stretch ever at 33 hours.

zanderlex : 72 hours. I actually went to the hospital because I was miserable and I just could not fall asleep. It was right after I had a surgery and I was in alot of pain,even with my meds.

Blacksmith84 : That must have been terrible. If I wasn't in pain and somehow stayed up that long I would be dead.

Yeah I was taking muscle relaxers too but I couldn't get the pain level down. They dosed me with Valium and gave me some to take home and I finally fell asleep.

It was around 24-25 hours straight, back in 2010 if memory serves me right.

I was still at school, and we returned to activity on a Friday. Due to the holidays, I woke up at 4 PM on my last free day, so I didn't take any sleep during the night and went to school.

It wasn't that hard to stay awake, mainly because the classes on Friday weren't that bad. Plus, Fridays had classes up to 2 PM only, meaning I was back home before the 24 hour period passed.

After coming home and having lunch, I ultimately gave in to my body's desires and slept. Knowing how much I like sleeping and loafing around, it's surprising I actually managed to stay awake for so long.

I don't think I've come any closer to that since then. I've had days with very few sleep, but that doesn't count. It still is heavily taxing on your body, and due to my health I'm not going to voluntarily give up hours of sleep anymore, so this should be the end of the line for me on this matter.

I had quite a few patches on where I stayed up for at least 24 hours.

But the longest streak I went without falling asleep was actually back in December 6th-8th, 2018 (50 hours).

On December 6th, 2018, I was asleep until around 8:00 P.M. (mostly because I want to be awake when I go pick up Super Smash Bros Ultimate from my nearest GameStop), and I woke up and went to GameStop to get the pre-order ticket and went to pick it up at the Midnight release, and after I picked SSB Ultimate up and went home, I end up playing it all day, and never realized that it was night time again, then didn't realize it was daylight again on the 8th, and then that evening (the 8th), I literally crashed asleep. The only time when I was out of my room was either getting something to eat or using the bathroom, and I was on vacation from my job that whole week.

Before that streak, the last sleepless streak I had was approx 36 hours sometime in Summer 2011.

The longest I have been awake was for 39 hours, basically it was the day I watched Ash win the Alola league and I was super hyped that he finally won and then I ended up messaging a person I didn't know that well yet and we were having a fun conversation and I was like you know what I've never been awake for 24 hours let's do it. Even with me deciding that I did try to do school and see if it would make me tired enough to sleep I studied for a test and aced it. I wasn't in the slightest tired so I committed to staying up so I kept typing to my friend all morning, I slowly was regretting it when I hit 24 hours I was like I can sleep now! Then it dawned on me that I had a Minecraft admin meeting in a few hours so I didn't wanna leave David alone to do it or risk him being alone so I stayed up. What followed was me being completely dead sounding during the live stream to the point David was worried about me and told me at the end of the stream to msg him tomorrow so everyone knew I was still alive cause of my diabetes. Even after that I couldn't sleep so I stayed up even longer and had a nice talk with a friend that night and once I hit 39 hours decided to sleep. My sense of time was destroyed for a while after that it was crazy, I never wanna be up that long again.

Probably like just under 24 hours at the most, I've not been awake for over 24 hours just yet although I don't really wanna try it anytime soon because I enjoy my sleep. XD

I don't tend to stay up longer then I used to back in the day, but I believe the longest I've gone without sleeping has been about 4-5 days given and it was one of the most hellish experiences I've had in my life and nearly almost killed myself from the experience... this was like when I was 15.

I was staying up those long hours because I wanted to try and work on a project and for the first few days I was completely fine, nothing too bad personally happened but I did start to hallucinate during the time and then my mental condition and physical body just started to feel worse and worse. I thankfully got the project done, it was kinda a bit of hell but I could finally rest really and that's all that mattered. If I recall 4 and a half days is like... 108 hours? Yeah... never going to be doing that again and I'm not foolish enough to ever attempt it after I nearly fell apart.

LuckyCharms : Sleeping is nice. I normally need like 10 hours of sleep a night so if I stay up even an hour later it messes up my entire sleep schedule. Staying up 24 hours or more kills me brian.

A few weeks ago I went about 50-72 hours (I wasn't actually counting the hours, just a ballpark guess from the amount of days) due to finals and all. I didn't want to risk sleeping cuz being asleep is wasted time that I could've been studying. Was an awful idea in hindsight, but hey I passed my classes.

I think the longest I've ever gone without sleep was like... 3-4 days? I think I was mostly playing video games. Its been so long I can't really remember the full details, I just remember it was a few days long.

Two days without sleep. Was back in my high school graduation days where it’s nonstop party and drinking. We be up enjoying the night then at the day either play some games or work. Those were the days

On two occasions, I went 24 hours without sleeping. One of those times was when I stayed up all night with my friend who was staying the night. He and I were playing games pretty much the whole time.

The other time I went a whole day without sleeping was for a Christmas-themed lock-in with my youth group! We had a different activity for each hour so it was the "12 hours of Christmas". Some activities were too relaxing, but that didn't affect me much! That's amazing to me because that was on a Friday. I had school before all that.

It was hilarious at 3 AM when I got a huge adrenaline rush. I kept walking in circles around a table. After that, I ran to the church's gym where I carelessly threw a basketball everywhere. One of my friends laughed a lot, but my other friend looked concerned. XD
