5 years...A long bridge in time that allows for many diverse changes, beginnings, and sometimes even saddening ends. A time span that may feel as though its lasted for eternity despite the low number count by comparison, while also feeling like such a short span to another accompaniment. Seeds can be planted and inevitably grow and sprout in said duration, creating new life and harmony in a variety of ways. What does all this talk have to do with my discussion you may ask? Well while it may not seem like long to most, especially when considering the individuals age by the 5 year comparison we're delving about, it's something I hold very dear and can't believe it's already that time of year once more. Not only is it the 29th birthday to one of my closest friends, (almost like older sibling at this point) but it's also been 5 years since I first made contact with this kind woman. My friend being Eniitan, which I'm sure many are already familiar with or know by name if you do not personally. What can I say about this friend that most of you wouldn't already know or have stated before on previous posts such as the annual Vizzed Awards threads? (specifically in nicest member award segment) Probably not much to add when it comes to basic standards or compliments that'd be given generally. However, there are a few deep cited points and memories that spring forth to mind when it comes to considering our long term friendship. I still remember fondly being more reserved and unconfident in my abilities/personal traits back in 2013, yet I decided to send this young lady a PM after having a few replies back and forth on each others comments page. Talking over several topics from gaming, to how their day had been going, to just general perception and feeling we received from having conversed with one another.

Before we knew it and as time both lingered and flew past our unknowing eyes, our kinship was born and much like the seed above, it began to blossom into something even grander to the point where the bridge between close friend/bff and any other similar settings were splitting. Instead it continued to grow more into something akin to a young newborn being looked and cared after by a slightly older sibling. The line between friend started to blur more so into the line of "family", the distinction between best buddy/friend had warped itself into "Big Sis/Fav Sibling". We were only connected through words on a screen, right? Yet as fate's time drew further and further away, it became comparable to a blood relation than simple phrases or advice on a screen! Even as I type now I can't help but feel grateful for the time that has passed, the time I've gotten to share and been lucky enough to create several experiences that'll stick true and through this child's memory. From simple reassurance in private messages, connecting through many outlets of social media, helping with critical advice on a vast collection of experiences she had to face, becoming an avid fan and supporter of her work both on here and throughout her streaming career, and helping provide in areas she may not have the luxury or ability to receive on her own. Reminiscing on the past to all the present day chats we still maintain and usually always leave a smile with each time.

Whether in sickness or positive health, in dramatic instances that left great impacts upon us or small circumstances that may've just given us a debbie-downer throughout most of the day. It was always nice being able to have that reassurance of a caring voice and company on the other side of the world/monitor. What are some of the best keywords to describe her you might ask? That is a very simple question to answer in my mind, as a myriad of choices flood to the forefront. Yet if I must choose the most outstanding traits I'd have to say it'd be these: "Loyal, Sympathetic, Motherly, Endearing" there's of course many more like you'd expect, yet those are what stand out the brightest and most true to me. They say everyone is special in their own way, that you should treasure those you hold close or just that are still in your life around you. As you never know/it'd be highly unlikely if you'd get to meet someone like them again. (especially not exactly alike) That is one piece of advice I can give and assure anyone about pursuing or maintaining a friendship with this mature and lovely lady, it's that if you certainly won't regret that decision and is something you should really hold tightly in your heart/spirit. The enjoyment, honesty, and just all around bliss you'd experience meeting up together is worth all the time & effort you could put into it all. Whatever happens, happens. But what I can say during the time I can still enjoy in current day, is that I certainly wish Eniitan the best in all her endeavors, that she'll have a wonderful birthday, and that I hope she knows/will now know. Just how much her friendship and time together has meant to this young and somewhat still inexperienced, yet now more open man. Have a great 29th and know that there are many more upon this board that am sure appreciate your time and presence, much like I do throughout the days/months/year.
