The site's database for some reason completely died. I had to contact Hostgator to look into it and it appears they were able to fix it. Not sure why it happened or what caused it but I'll probably look into optimizing a few things in the database in case it was related to strain or a poorly designed database table.

Staff : I don't think any data was lost but if there was, let me know ASAP.

I was wondering why Vizzed was acting weird yesterday, like the whole site going down, can't log in, or can log in but can't post anything.

Boured : More specifically, the site's database engine died. Therefore all of the databases I have on this server were unavailable. I'm not sure what they did to fix it, most likely completely reinstalled the software.

The server had plenty of disk space to spare so it wouldn't have been that. Usually that's the first thing I check when issues arise.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
