today is my seven year Anniversary on Viz I first joined back on June 4/2012 back during the time when all the mario and donkey kong games that I enjoyed playing were available before nintendo had them removed I used to come here as a guest after discovering this site one day while looking for free online video games and at the time was extremely impressed with the huge selection that Viz has as well as the many different game systems that are available it was after joining that I learned that not only could the games be played but it was also possible to take screenshots and videos and while I,m not sure how to take the videos I started taking screenshots and submitting them to the site then one day back in 2016 I applied to become a screenshot adder after reading that there were openings at the time for site staff and knew that since taking screenshots is something I enjoy doing that this would be a great way to contribute to Viz in fact to this day I still enjoy taking them as well as the staff position that I currently have there also has been a lot of changes made to the site by David since the time I first joined does anyone remember a time when you could buy games for Viz points and be able to return any that you no longer wanted in your game profile? or a time when the msx games used to work? I don,t know about everyone else but these games no longer seem to work for me even though they used to at one point but it,s really not a big problem since there are so many others that can be played and so whenever I find one that is broken I just move onto another game and even though nintendo removed a lot of games a long time ago I still enjoy coming here since this is like a second home to me a place where not only can you play games but be part of a community and while some may say that Viz is dying in my opinion there still seems to be plenty of life here thanks to all the hard work that David and all staff have done and continue to do to this day.

no 8120 : I miss the days when you could buy and sell games for Viz. What I really liked about this feature was how you could add these games to your "Game Profile" once you played them, and you could sell them in order to delete them from your profile. The Vizzed community is a great online community despite the whole Nintendo incident back in 2016. The place has really been helping me through some personal problems here lately, but I really want to get back into gaming also. Maybe, David can make it possible to add games back to your profile sometime soon. Even if he doesn't, it's still nice to see users like you sticking with this site as long as you have. I just wish other people stuck with it too and actually posted.

Congratz! I didn't realize this until now, but you joined vizzed exactly 1 month before me.

I perfectly remember those days of owning and selling games. It didn't last long for me, because once I started contributing regularly to the site I no longer had to worry about being low on Viz, but I did like re-organizing my Games Profile every so often with the games I used to play.

Seven years is indeed a long time to be around. The site has changed quite a lot, which on itself makes it feel alive even if the activity on the boards can imply otherwise. And well, this place will never truly die if people like you keep contributing so much to any area of this site.

I'm amazed to see you keep your passion intact for your staff role despite the long time you've been doing it. It's not easy to stay active for this long and with the pace you show month after month.

Three years to go until hitting double digits! I hope I stay active so I can see you getting there!

Nice! I'm a little over 7 years myself (since February). It's amazing to realize what percentage of your life you've spent registered on this website... Maybe a little sad, even, but there's always some good memories.
