What are your top five favorite Gameboy Advance games any why? Share a story about it if you have one. Nostalgia's bound to be a factor.

I'd have to say Sonic Advance, Dragonball Z: Legacy of Goku II, Dragonball Z: Buu's Fury, Pokemon Ruby Version, and probably Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

I've got good memories with friends associated with all these games. They were all really good games, too. I still replay them from time to time. Sonic Advance, in my opinion, is one of the best titles in the series, Legacy of Goku and Buu's Fury were really good RPGs, Pokemon Ruby is one of my favorites despite the "too much water" meme, and I still say Chain of Memories is highly underrated. Sure, the card system is strange for a Kingdom Hearts game, but as its own thing, I really, really liked the way the system was executed.

There's going to be a lot of Pokemon Games, just a heads up lol.

5. Pokemon Ruby
4. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
3. Pokemon Emerald
2. Pokemon Leaf Green
1. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team

Yes, I like Pokemon lol. Despite Pokemon Emerald and Pokemon Leaf Green being two of my favorite Pokemon games of all-time, Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue team actually takes the cake for me. I remember I got the game when I got my tonsils out in second grade, so I would have something to do while I was home all day. I fell in love with the game right away, and it's still one of my favorites to this day. I really like how challenging it is, unlike main series Pokemon games.

Well, there't not really an easy way for me to rank them like that, but I can pick 5 of my favorites in no particular order. Sonic Advance 3, Pokemon FireRed, Pokemon Emerald, Mega Man Zero 3, and Mega Man Battle Network.

Gameboy Advance has quite an impressive library of games to choose from, but here are a few of my favorites, in no particular order:

1. Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald
2. Pokemon Fire Red/ Leaf Green
3. Fire Emblem (2003)
4. Zelda: A Link to the Past
5. Metroid Fusion

Nearly half the list is Pokemon because I first started with Emerald and from there I started branching out and played Fire Red, Leaf Green, and any other Pokemon games that came out on the system.

Lol I haven't even played more than a few GBA games. All the ones I played were Pokemon Sapphire and Emerald, and a Mega Man game so those would be my top 3 favorite.

zanderlex : You really should try at least a handful more. It's a really great platform. The Pokémon games, Pokémon Pinball, Mystery Dungeon, Sonic Advance, GBA ports of the old Final Fantasy games, though I read that the PSX versions, particularly the European ones, are the definitive versions because they're uncensored and are well localized, Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, that list just keeps going on and on.

My top 5 GBA games you say? This is gonna be rather difficult as the GBA is the system I've probably spent the most time emulating but I'll do my best.

1. Pokemon Sapphire (I don't play pokemon games as often as I used to but I have to give it to this as it was the first game I had with my GBA and I put many hours into it even though once again I didn't finish it)
2. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga (I haven't finished it yet but I have enjoyed it quite a bit from what I played)
3. Kirby And The Amazing Mirror (also my favorite Kirby game)
4. Zelda- The Minish Cap (another one I need to return to and finish some day)
5. Advance Wars
