I'm also waiting for the staff announcements, but the main reason I'm not doing much on here tonight is because I'm in a lot of pain. I'm going to be going to try and go to sleep early tonight so that my pain medication doesn't wear off while I'm still awake. I'm going to need a root canal.

I've been chilling a bit as well today. I'm running out of steam a bit.

gamerforlifeforever : Hope you'll get that sorted out quickly. Dental pain is the worst. 

Picked up 16 points today, an acceptable number that I am happy with. Just need to grind for four more days and the rainbow banner, the blue jersey, the yellow jersey, and the points record will all be mine!

I checked things yesterday and unless I missed someone, I've officially set the record for most points scored by a runner-up. The 18 points today will definitely help me get to my end goal of 420. 

I've also almost secured the Red jersey by this point. The max amount of points tgags can get for that is 124, so I'll just need to get 10 points over the next 4 days and that one is mine.

Green looks to be still in the air but as long as I keep working on that one it'll be mine as well.

Furret : The previous record that was held for 2nd Place was Zander back in Winter 2015 when he scored 320 points (I won that TdV with 335 points). So, you basically blew pass that record awhile ago.

tgags123 vs Furret continues.

Well, thanks to yesterday, I've now broken the 1500 total points mark. I've also become the 6th user on that chart, though that could last a very short while since I'm just one point ahead of 7th.

It's really jaw-dropping to see the massive gap between the top two and the rest of the world. Furret could even score more than the combined scores of the users between 4th and 10th. I'd like to see if the gap can grow bigger during these last four days, because it could get to a point we've had TdV winners with a lower total score than such gap.

I just notice something, this could end up being the first TdV ever that David has not placed somewhere in the Top 10 for the entire month, which is really strange. Normally at the end of every TdV, David was placed somewhere in the Top 10, but this month (as of January 28th), David isn't anywhere in the Top 10.

IgorBird122 : Yup, that's right. I don't think he's had that many points this TDV either. To put into perspective just how impressive of a feat that is for David, the next closest user for most consecutive top 10 finishes is Yuna with 13 soon to be 14. (Spring 2015 - present.) David's streak is currently 26. I don't think David has enough time to make it this time around.

EX Palen : Ayy congrats on 1500 total points! I'm not even halfway that number haha. The gap between tgags and myself compared to #3 and below is massive. Part of that has to do with the 7 pointers allowing for more points to be gained but mostly because both Lexatom and zanderlex kind of ... stopped competing. I don't know if that gap will grow bigger as I'd have to outscore like 7 different people each day which isn't easy.

IgorBird122 : That's partly because David DQ'd himself from green due to him gaining actions from something limited to him. If he was able to score in green the whole month he'd probably be close to the top 10 at this point.

Furret : Congrats on making TdV history! And I'll just say congrats on Red and Green now, because unless you die or end up in the hospital or something, there's no way I'm passing you in either of them. (And if you did die or end up in the hospital I'd still probably let you have them out of respect lol)

The graph is so cool in my opinion. It's me and Furret blasting off like rocket ships with practically straight lines, and then everyone else lol.

EX Palen : Congrats. Before too long, you'll pass me to take a spot in the top 5 all time.

thing1 : Nah, it's going to take me a while. I don't know how active I'll be during July (depends on what staff position I could be holding by then), but I'm not confident on scoring big if activity is like at the start of this month, so we could drag this onto 2020 or beyond and basically into the unknown.

EX Palen : You've seen what kind of points i've put up this month. You only about 35 or so points behind me.

Wow, what a slow day. I was able to take advantage, and it looks like I'm going to come away with 18 points, or 19 if I am able to hold off Yuna for 2nd in Red. Either way, a great day for me, and it puts me in very good position to achieved my goal and reach 500 total points. The average per day I needed coming in to today was 16, so if I get 19 that will definitely help if I am not able to be as active in one of the remaining three days.

EDIT: It appears that 7-point possibilities have presented themselves in both yellow and blue. Let's see if I can take advantage of that in the final 9 minutes.

tgags123 : Doing the math, in the final 3 days, all you need to do is to get at least 14 points in the final 3 days to breat 500 points this month, which I think you can be able to accomplish before the end of the month. I do have fate in you to break 500 points

Man I lost Green the last 30 minutes or so of the day, slightly annoyed about that haha. Being forced to watch it happen while not being able to retaliate is mildly frustrating but at this point the jersey is pretty much mine anyway. 

If I get 2 more points in Red today I will have mathematically secured it. And Green is practically mine as well by this point. I'll be breaking 400 tonight which is exciting as hell, at the start of TdV I would've never guessed I'd make it to 400. 

tgags is on his way to 500 as well, he just needs 14 points a day from here on out to get there. I do feel bad for the previous record holder as that record was set in a 30 day month and they would've broken 500 otherwise, but you also have to give it to tgags - he worked his ass off to get there.
