Some people just can't go a day without using their favorite apps.

What apps do you have that you are constantly using or playing with?

My favorites are Topps Bunt, Summoners War, Amino, Tap Tap Builder, Discord, and Slack. I use almost all of them every day.

I am not a phone person so with that said the only apps I really have are the ones that came pre-installed with my phone. This includes a calendar, weather for next several days, a clock and useful things like that. I guess I am just not an app kinda person. I go several days without even looking at my phone...

I won an iTunes gift card at a White Elephant gift exchange recently. I took the plunge and spent $22 in cred on Monster Hunter: Stories. I've spent 40+ hours in it and haven't beaten the game yet. I hear that it's usually around 200+ hours to "100%" the game. I'm not sure I'll go that far, but I'll feel I got my money's worth if I can pull my bro into the game (thank you Family Sharing).

I don't go a single day without devoting a significant amount of time to this game. I'm hooked! And I've been a bit better about moderating my time recently, but this game...It can be a lot of fun, and there's soooo much content.

supernerd117 : I just heard about that game for the first time yesterday. I saw it multiple times at Gamestop for the 3DS plus someone bought it. Didn't pay any attention to it myself but now that I know that it's a mobile game too I might be interested in checking it out but it's took expensive.

zanderlex : I haven't had an experience like MH, ever. Pokemon is not nearly as thrilling to me as this game, in which battles can last up to 10+ minutes. There's a sort of enthralling sense of success as you predict your enemies' attacks and counter them with just the right move. That can be had in Pokemon, to be sure, but Pokemon battles in the solo game are pretty much never as intense as those in MH, even if they are more difficult, at times.

This game, man. It's amazing. It brings back the thrills of one of my favorite games (Pocket Card Jockey) by having you adapt according to successes and failures. You predict an enemy's move wrong and you'll need to heal or use an item. So much in the game is based on predicting enemy movements. It reminds me of that one scene in the Princess Bride: Except the battle of wits is much more complex and layered and well, they could win. You have to take what you know of your opponent into every battle. And in the main game, there are many battles where you have to learn as you go...every first fight with an enemy type is that way.

It's crazy how many enemies have actually posed a threat to me. Even with a powerhouse of a team, I'm struggling on occasion. Thankfully game overs lack serious consequences (you manage to escape whatever situation with one of your three hearts restored along with whatever items you collected...though you may have to repeat a battle).

One thing I've found is that repeating battles tends to be fun. I enjoy fighting a creature I lost to again, because I get to fight the battle in a better way. I'm not merely hoping to get lucky and get some great shots in. One battle I actually looked forward to losing each time. I was excited about losing because it meant I got to fight the battle again. Dude.

It may not be worth your $22, but I gotta say I'm digging the experience.

supernerd117 : Monster Hunter is one of my 3 most favorite game franchises of all time, but I've never played one that's similar to the way you're making this sound. I would love to get this on my phone if I get a chance and test it out.

I've been playing a lot of Puzzle & Dragons, Fire Emblem Heroes, and Dragalia Lost. Minuano got me into gatcha games recently so I blame him. Oh Pokemon Go is also a favorite of mine.

Lexatom : I used to play Fire Emblem Heroes a lot back in the day. I used to play like an hour a day for a couple months and I remember I got what was supposedly one of the best heroes in the game within a few days of starting the game but it's been a very long time since the last time that I played.

Dragalia Lost was fun for a bit, I really need to get around to playing it again. Other apps I use are Twitter, Steam on occasion, and an app that reminds me to drink water

yoshirulez! : How the heck does an app that tells you to drink water even work? Do you just tell it how often or how many times a day and it makes a schedule?

I don't play a lot of games on my phone, so a lot of my most frequently used apps aren't games. Instead they are things like Twitter, YouTube, E-Mail, Spotify, and Snapchat. I think Snapchat is the app I use the most, as I have a lot of group chats with friends on there.

zanderlex : I was against Snapchat for so long, but I finally started using it when my friends starting making group chats on it. Now it's one of my favorite apps. I like the memories feature, and sending a snap to someone is so much easier than texting them a picture. Also, it makes flirting with girls a lot easier. Not that I have the opportunity to do much of that, but if I did it would be helpful lol.

Guys, guys, guys. 

Snapchat, despite being a horrible app, is needed for us kids. I use snapchat ALL the time. I've amassed a snapscore of only 120,000, but i've only been snapping for about two years. I have a good streak with my best friend of almost 700 days.

But yeah, the app is horrible, but it is needed.

The only app I regularly use and I like is Whatsapp. That sums up how interesting my life is lol

The only other app I use is Duolingo, a language-learning app. The good thing is that it's free, but the bad thing is that it's free. You're not told why nouns, adjectives or verbs go before or after one another, translations aren't accurate enough (even less in my case, it's coded in Latin-American Spanish and it differs in several things from "Mainland" Spanish)... Basically, you're not going to be at an Advanced level just with it, but maybe enough to defend yourself in more languages.

That's basically it. The rest are just convenience apps I only use when they're needed, like the one for my city's public transport, which comes in handy to plan trips through the city and see timetables.

In terms of not games, I suppose my app for work, Discord, Twitter, my banking app, and YouTube would really be the other things that I use most often.

Google Chrome: An obvious choice.
YouTube Vanced: It's an adless YouTube, you can't get it on the playstore.
Stardew Valley: I mean, that's just right now. I'll find something else later.

I don't have great answers here, but I highly recommend the Romance of the Three Kingdoms game. It goes through Cao Cao's story, but gives it a positive spin. It's wonderful, the best F2P app I've ever played. The PVP is still annoying though.
