Whether you are a competitive player or not, we all have that one character that we play more than anyone else and feel that we are best with that certain character. Which character do you use the most/are best at playing?

My main in Smash 4 was Sonic and Pikachu, but with Smash Ultimate out, I'm looking to main Incineroar, Piranha Plant (lol), and Joker. Once more DLC gets announced I may decide to main them as well.

I've been a Lucas guy most of my smash timeline. Had a short run with DK in brawl and I also loved using ZSS in Smash 4.

I've yet to get a switch and Ultimate but once I do I'm going to try out my smash 4 characters to see if I still like how they play.

I’ve mained ice climbers in every game I’ve played, and I don’t see any reason to stop now. I love the ice climbers move set and speed.

I also commonly play as Falco and Shulk. Outside of those three, I just play random characters on and off.

In the previous Smash Bros games I used to main Mr. Game and Watch or Link. I'm not big fan of the BOTW Link in Smash Ultimate.
I found, however, that Young Link plays just like the previous Link but faster and I love it. I've definitely played Young Link more than any other character so far, but Pichu is going to be my main for sure.

Pichu has been missing for far too long and I love him; he's so cute and powerful. I will become the best Pichu player in the WORLD!

I have three mains in Ultimate since I've started playing.

First is King K Rool. I usually hate heavies, they move too slowly, their moves are too predictable, and I can't do s*** with them. But with K Rool, I'm competitive with my friends who played Smash 4 (I haven't played since Melee). I attribute it to his neutral special, side special, and jabs/tilts to all play extremely well into each other. I barely have to use his recovery, but when I do, it's an amazing one. I'm also a fan of his counter, although I haven't really mastered the timing on it. Should have heard my best friend shriek when he thought he had me with Villager's tree attack, only for it to get rebounded back into him.

Second is Sonic. While K Rool is big and slow, and hard hitting, I use Sonic because he's the exact opposite, he's small, quick, and annoyingly pesky. I need to get better with him, I end up killing myself more than anyone else, when I play him, but he's just so much fun to play.

Third is Captain Falcon. FALCON.... PUNCH!

I've been going only with Samuel since I started playing. Love her moves and it's been fairly easy to control her.

My main happens to be Lucario, the reason why is...

1st... I mostly like using a middle weight character, you know, to balance out between being not too light where I don't get launched off-screen, easly, but not too heavy where I can't recover when I get knocked off the stage.

2nd... The move set, I love using the Force Palm move on my opponents, the Aura Sphere for long-distance attacks, and using the Double Team counter as well. And my most favorite is the Final Smash "Aura Storm", it sucked that it wasn't in Smash 4, but glad they brought it back for Ultimate.

3rd... Lucario happens to be part of my 6-Pokemon team in the Pokemon franchise

4th... The Aura man... The Aura..

Mr. Game & Watch.

I'll start off by saying I'm not very good with any character in any game.

With that said, I main Marth in Melee and Samus in Project M and Ultimate (Soo far, at least. Have yet to unlock every character). I'm most competent with Samus than any other character because it just comes to me naturally. I don't feel like I really have to try to play well (relatively) with her.

I didn't play Brawl (unless you count Project M, but it's different enough) or Smash 4.

Since the very first SSB on the N64, I have mained Link, and only Link. 

I barely even have a second character, but if I had to choose someone else to play, on the N64 I'd use Samus, Melee I'd use Shiek or Kirby, SSB4 I'd use Sheik or Kirby, and on the SSBU I'm thinking of using the Inkling as my second. 

But yeah, I'm 100% always maining the same character: Link.

Found out I'm a pretty good Young Link so I may start maining him on Ultimate more than the other characters. Also pretty decent with Ridley as well so there's another option, he has a MEAN side B attack.

I am better with incineroar than any of you and none of you can ever prove me wrong

Once I actually unlock Incineroar and play with him for a while we will test this statement. 

I always have and always will be a kirby main first and foremost. I did dabble a bit with Metaknight and King Dedede in Brawl as well before I knew what a tournament really was. Smash 4 was when I started going competitive, and there I mained Kirby and Bowser Jr. with a pocket Metaknight, Dedede and Bowser.

In Ultimate I'm still a bit indecisive, but right now I am loving how all the Kirby characters play, but Bowser Jr got kinda neutered. I might end up picking up Bowser as well, but I'm still narrowing things down.

Previously I played Pit more than anything else. I was trying to branch out with Marth and Sheik on 3ds before I quit, but now that Ultimate is out I've also been really interested about Inkling. A character that bribes me into pressing the shield button? PERFECT! Although, I seem to be having one notable issue... turning around.

Turning around is my biggest issue when it comes to Smash right now LOL.

Also, I just found out I am an incredible Ike in this game, so that's who my first choice main is going to be. It's cool, too. I really like Ike. Me and Ike go way back to the year 2008.

In Melee I usually play with Link, although more recently I've become a fan of Sheik as well. I don't play Smash 4, I like Melee's gameplay much better. I don't have Smash Ultimate yet, although I am looking forward to playing it when I get it for Christmas. I've heard King K. Rool is OP so I'll probably try him out. I'll probably play as Link a lot too, just because I'm used to him from Melee. I've heard his bombs are different now (and more effective), so I'm excited to try that out.
