This month's music competition is for the Sony PSP but I haven't uploaded many soundtracks yet. I don't have space to upload all of the soundtracks so I only want to add the best of the best but want to have at least 50 soundtracks available for the PSP.

Simply respond to this thread with a PSP soundtrack that you think we should add and me or a staff member will try and get it added before the month ends. I'm going to limit users to 3 requests per a month which means that if you requested something for the last competition, you are eligible to again request stuff for this competition.

There are 3 PSP soundtracks i want added to the Video Game Music Room:

Mega Man Powered UP(PSP)

Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X(PSP)

Pac-Man World Rally(PSP)

There is one I really want to see added: Gran Turismo for PSP.

It has a nice variety of styles, with one song standing way above all: Colorful Monochrome, by Masanori Mine. Not sure if there will be any legal issue with licensed tracks or something like that, which I've seen in previous soundtrack contests, but if we could have that one added we'd surely have one of the best soundtracks for that handheld.

Switching to a more videogame-like style, maybe we could get the soundtrack of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 3. I remember it had quite the variety to fit certain situations, like fast-paced songs for the key levels and different songs used for regular battles, when you're clearly winning or when you're on the brink of losing. That'd be a nice view as well, and may probably have me increase the library of games I currently have playable for my PSP emulator (and robbing me of my free time as well lol)

The only other soundtrack I'd be interested in is fully taken from real artists and bands, so I don't think we can really get it added here, besides the fact no track was seemingly made exclusively for that game, or even that franchise.

I hardly played any PSP games outside of the Monster Hunter series. The ones titled Freedom (western release) and Portable (eastern release) are the ones you will want for this, preferably 2 in my opinion.

BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend. I have a couple more in mind, but I haven't decided on which other two I wanna request.

I had a couple questions in mind, but before proceeding, the games you listed as you couldn't find them it's because they're missing from the VGR and thus you can't add music without that?

I'm the Sony Manager after all, so it would be my duty to fill in those spots. I admit I don't always have time to do addings like this on top of the new releases, but this week is kind of relaxed so I could fancy including some games besides it (unless you just want the game page out there, because what's really taxing is the content and I could skip that if only the game page is needed).

EX Palen : I couldn't find them anywhere to download online. If you help find them though, I can definitely add them from what you find

The only access I've ever had to soundtracks is via Youtube, and given how there's a playlist there for Tag Force 3 I'm surprised it can't be found anywhere else.

I'll give a try to the soundtrack of its sequels and prequels, to see if any of them can be requested and added in its place (or as my pending third request).

EX Palen : Sounds good. I had purchased a YouTube downloader script a year or so ago and had planned on eventually modifying it so that all a user would have to do is supply the URL to the songs on YouTube and the script would automatically download it to the Vizzed server and add it to the music room. This is something I still plan to do eventually.

Davideo7 : I hate to complain but, when i go and request a song from either Mega Man Powered Up or Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X to the VideoGameMusicRadio, it shows the wrong screenshots from the wrong game! I do not know if that was a VideoGameMusicRadio glitch or misplaced? Can you solve it? I do not want it to be an issue during the PSP music competition stream!

Could you please also add the soundtrack of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep?

vizzy900 : That'd be an issue with the Video Game Room. Try contacting the Site Staff, they can fix that.

Davideo7 : You sure what vizzy900 reported is no issue with the radio? The VGR seems fine, each page shows the correct boxarts and the links to the Music Room are also correct, so I don't see any mislead there.

vizzy900 : Just letting you know of the above, in case you either want to check the VGR for yourself or you notice more games to be messed up.

Davideo7 : The above post is proof that the issue is within the Radio, and thus out of my reach. If Ocarina of Time is missing something, that surely isn't screenshots, and despite that the Radio used an image of another game.

Not sure if its a search issue, but maybe peace walker with the space in-between would find it?
