Have you even decided to add some decals to be stick onto your consoles/handheld or do you rather just use the console/handheld like the way it looks when you took it out of the box?

As for me, I'm not really to fond about adding any kind of decals or anything similar onto my consoles/handhelds. I normally like my consoles and handhelds like the way that it came out of the box, and I have been like that with every system I have gotten since my PS2 Slim back in Christmas 2004.

I'm not much of a customizing kinda person, I like to keep things simple.

What about you, do you customize your consoles and/or handhelds, or not?

Definitely not and I cringe every time I find a sticker on a console or game box. Stuff isn't in great shape by the time it makes it to me because we buy a lot of used stuff when we can find deals but I try my best not to make it worse with that sort of thing. It really lowers its value as a collectable.

I think I did customize my pretty little red box GBA SP with some stickers back in time, but if I did it was just because those stickers came with the official Nintendo magazine I followed back then and thought they would look cool.

Other than that, I've kept my consoles and handhelds intact. If I want a "customized" console or handheld, then I'd buy one of those special editions that come in non-standard colors and I'd already have something different, even if it wasn't made by me. Still, I'm not fond of these alternate colors most of the time, though the Dark Side Wii is still one of my unrequited loves

I've never customized any of my consoles or handhelds, and I would never do that. But let's say just for the sake of argument that I did put stickers or something like that on my consoles or handhelds. If I did have that mindset and would like to put a sticker on my game systems, I would destroy the systems entirely.  A sticker would look better on a destroyed system than on an intact system. At least no one in my family has a problem with how my gaming systems look. They wouldn't put any decals on them. At least, I hope not.

No, I don't usually customize my systems. I don't really have a reason why. Probably because it's harder to sell them if I ever decide to get rid of them.

m0ssb3rg935 : That is what I usually would feel when there is a sticker on a console, it just makes me feel a little uncomfortable, not really sure on why some people are like that like we are, maybe it might be because of the whole decals devaluing the console/handheld, and if you remove those decals, they might not come off successfully which will basically ruin the console entirely, even if you manage to get the decal off, it will still leave that sticky residue, which makes it even worse. And makes matters even worse, sometime they can damage the console/handhelds in general, like we have heard about the Nintendo Switch where those decals damages the system and the Joy-Con controllers.

This is why I avoid customize my consoles/handhelds with decals, if I really want to customize my Handheld, I'm better off getting one of those hard face plates where you can detach them without leaving anything, and not causing any harm on your handheld.

EX Palen : That is the way with me, if I want a customized console/handheld, I might as well get one of those Special Editions, like the Special Edition Pokemon Black Nintendo DSi with Reshiram & Zekrom on the handheld. It's better that way than ruining your console/handheld

IgorBird122 : I actually invested in some Goo Gone to try and get stickers off of some boxes and carts and it didn't really work well. On top of that, it left an oily residue even if it did take the crud off. I later found out that there's something a lot cheaper and much more widely available that works three times as well with no oil residue: rubbing alcohol. The higher the percentage, the better.

Everything from torn stickers to that really sticky, gooy stuff that gets left on things after duct tape or electrical tape starts wearing out comes off like magic and the stuff evaporates really quickly. Give it a try sometime. You'll never use anything else.

I do for my PS Vita. When I bought my special edition for Persona 4: Dancing all Night, it came with a skin and I have been using that on the Vita ever I got the game, which was more than two years ago.

No I haven't really customized mine. I like mine the way they are. Whenever I would get one I left it pretty much the same. Mainly because I did not want to ruin anything or take away the authenticity of the hand held device.

I don't typically customize my consoles or handhelds. Most I've ever done for customizing is like, buying stuff that's already been customized (i.e. controllers with designs already), and getting like, some grips for my controller sticks (they've got little paw prints on them). But I never put stickers or anything on my stuff.

m0ssb3rg935 : Especially if the sticker is old and everything, where it's really impossible to get the sticker off with the residue drying out and all, that's why I avoid put anything on them and I avoid buying anything with any decals on them, mostly because I like the originality of the console/handheld.
