As everyone knows... Ridley is in Smash Bros. Ultimate. For some reason?

I don't know, I don't understand the appeal, and I'll probably never play as them. But now that Ridley has made it in, theoretically, I believe any Nintendo character can make it in (and with Snake coming back, there's a chance any third party could get in too!).

So what do you think would be the single most ridiculous character to get into Smash Bros. down the line?

If you knew about this, I do think it'd be an interesting callback.

Even if you didn't, the idea would be tricky. You have to balance the character, having Ditto transform into any fighter is a cool concept, but if they are just as strong, they don't really have any weaknesses.

Now, I didn't know about it. My extent of Smash knowledge is limited to a little bit in the Nintendo 64 version, and a little bit on Sm4sh on the WiiU (the only character I can play in Yoshi, because he's so simple). 

I'm getting Ultimate for myself and my borther's Christmas. I know he likes the games, and I've been promising to get a game that we can play together for awhile now. I know there's not much lore or history, so that's probably why I never really got into the games, besides the fact that they are Nintendo Console exclusives, since I like story games.

Hey, maybe, just maybe that if Ridley is in Smash, maybe Waluigi could also be added to Super Smash Bros Ultimate even despite that he's already an Assist Trophy, at least this is what everyone in the Smash community wants, have a character as a fighter that is already an Assist Trophy.

Now, what will happen if Waluigi is added in the game and someone plays as Waluigi and they (or their opponent) picks up an Assist Trophy that contains Waluigi (same purple color, everything), would that mean that person has officially ruptured the Space-Time Continuum, created a Smash Paradox, or both?

You want completely ridiculous but keep it Nintendo? Kefka. With his boss version as final smash. If you're worried his taunting laugh will cause nostalgia-nightmares, make Ultros the octopus struggle along on land with his buddy Phunbaba helping out for certain moves (like jumps).

I'm actually having a really hard time thinking of characters that could possibly be more dumb than ROB, Duck Hunt Dog and Pac-Man... But if I had to throw one out there, Doom guy. Though, I say that having not seen any gameplay of the remake and I only have the original for reference.

IgorBird122 : Honestly, Wailord could actually work as some kind of support similar to how Snorlax works. As a playable character, it would be pretty ridiculous but I could see somehow putting him in some other way.


EDIT: Also, while it's extremely unlikely, I feel like Marco Rossi from Metal Slug could easily work just as well as Snake. Variety of arms, a couple different kinds of melee attacks, grenades, the Metal Slug as a final smash in a similar fashion as Fox and Falco's Land Master, etc. And all that with cartoonish expressions.
