which ps4 title would you happen to like more than the other?

i chose spyro since he had a whole new makeover and which makes the Purple Dragon a rare beast

If I do have my pick, I would pick Spyro, the reason why, it was my first ever video gaming series that I have ever played, and although I don't really have any interest in the series anymore (after the whole Skylander's sub-series basically destroyed him), but if it does come onto the Nintendo Switch (Which I know it will happen without a shadow of a doubt, my guess would be sometime in 2019), I might give this game a try and relive the original 3 games.

I never really played either one of them, but I prefer Spyro, because it takes a lot longer to finsh the game, and has more things needed for a 100% completion.

Honestly, Crash.

The reason why...
I only played Crash, that's it.

I'm not really interested in Spyro for some reason.

Spyro's more open and generally are longer games, but I gotta say Crash Bandicoot because it's been like 4 years since I've played Spyro and I really love breaking crates for clear gems in Crash Bandicoot. I don't really know why, but I see it kind of as a treasure hunt for added fun to get all of the crates.

I much prefer Spyro. Crash is cool and all but I've been a huge fan of these Spyro games from years. They were some of my favorite games, I loved the graphics, the characters, and the stories. Crash is good but doesn't come close for me.

Spyro all the way. I LOVE the spiro games and pretty much got a PS1 in order to play them (before the roms obviously)

I was really sad when they release the Spyro remastered, but didn’t release it on the switch, I would have automatically bought it.

I do like crash bandicoot, just not to the same level that Spyro the Dragon has taken my love.

Spyro, although to be fair, I've never really played a Crash Bandicoot game before outside of briefly playing it at a friend's house for less than an hour. Still though, I prefer games that take a bit more time to finish and complete and I don't think I'd get that from Crash Bandicoot to the degree I do with Spyro.

I've finally got a chance to get my hands on both of the games and I played both of them for a fes minutes each to get the nostalgia.

The thing for me is, I liked Crash when I was younger, but I realized that I don't like platformers now as much as I used to. Not sure why but I couldn't really get into the game as much as I would have liked too. On the othet hand when I was testing out Spyro, I was loving it a lot.

I'm going to say Spyro, but only because I feel like there's more to the game than there is in Crash Bandicoot.

I would say Spyro The Dragon definitely. Having played both the Spyro and Crash remasters, I can say that I had more fun overall with Spyro. Crash is mostly just a linear platformer while in Spyro it feels a bit more open and you can find all sorts of hidden treasures and stuff.

Honestly, from what I've played of both, I prefer Spyro's more open-ended collectathon gameplay. I've mostly played the handheld games of both series, so it probably skewed my perspective, but I feel that Spyro is a more relaxed and more fun game in comparison to the difficulty and linearity of a Crash game. Spyro can be a bit frustrating when it comes to getting everything in every level, but Crash outdoes it in every way if you're trying to do everything in its levels.

Crash Bandicoot all the way! I own the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and not the Spyro Reignited Trilogy (simply because of a damn day-one patch necessary for the game which is there due to reasons the devs couldn't sort out) so that should tell you something. Plus, Crash games are more simple whereas Spyro seems more complex.

Definitely in the Spyro camp on this one! I've played and enjoyed both, but Crash (with the exception of CTR of course) always reminded me of an on-rails platformer. Not that that type of genre exists per se, but on-rails shooters give you very little if any choice on where to go and that's what Crash made me think of: stuck in a hallway (albeit with invisible walls at times) that you can run back and forth in. Spyro is more like Mario 64 or (dare I mention?) Skyrim in that you're allowed far more freedom to do as you wish.

i played crash bandicoot for the first time 3 years ago. i started with the first one and knew immediately there was no way crash could ever be better the spyro. i might have been wrong. after playing the second and 3rd one it becomes a much closer race, add in ctr and crash pretty much has the victory. ill have to play more crash games to be sure but im leaning crash atm and i never thought i would.
