Personally, I kinda dig the black-and-white.

And I thank you for the compassion to continue to the creative jokes sir, viewing the site has me think of the old black and white televisions.

I must admit, I fell for this. I came to the site via mobile to read a thread someone linked me to, and all I was thinking was "where did the colors go!?!?"

So I actually pranked my wife with this prank as well. I set the site like this shortly before I went to bed at around 8 AM central time (I work 5th shift which is a 12 hour night shift) and shortly after I woke up, I told her that I had bad news regarding the website and that we weren't able to afford the current servers and that I switched to and old black and white server which resulted into the site having to be in black and white. Since I had just woke up, it was pretty easy to be serious and believable and so she actually believed it. She probably would have figured out that it didn't make sense if I had given her more time but I told her right away after she had a shocked look on her face that I was just pranking her. She's not very gullible so it was fun to pull off an april fools prank with her

geeogree : I think Vizzed needs more traditions because traditions like this tend to remind people of the site and that sometimes results into them checking out that tradition on the site and sometimes even posting.

CryBaby : I'm old enough to have used a black and white TV lol. My families main TV was of course a color TV but we had a spare black and white TV.

faing : I also think having more annual and seasonal themes would be fun. At the moment the only one we have is the Christmas theme which is used throughout all of December. Of course this is all low priority since it'd be development work which I've lowered the priority of, but something like this I think would keep things feeling fresh and lively around here.

If I remember correctly, my relatives discarded their black and white television before I was born, so sadly I did not have the chance to see one.

I wasn't here yesterday while all this happened. Did someone catch an Oshawott? If so, can they trade with me? (Get it? BLACK and WHITE?) Anyways, if anyone screencapped the site, that'd be great, and I'd love to see what the site looked like.

Oh nice, I can imagine you would've edited the site's font as well to make it look really funky or more retro.

Davideo7 : Yeah you really need to add more Themes to your site. Not just the Christmas Theme. But a few seasonal themes like valentines day, St. Patrick's day, Easter Sunday (witch was yesterday), Halloween, Thanksgiving day and New years.
It can also be like a video game theme too. You know like Mario, Pokemon, Kirby, Final Fantasy any theme is fine (hey Nintendo did that with their 3DS).
