Hey everyone, glad to be back to see you all. Needing some advice and answers.

A friend of mine is experiencing side effects and I'm not sure what it is. This is what he is recently experiencing the past few days:

- difficult urinating
- right side of his stomach is hurting
- discoloration  of knee cap to ankles
- upper back is sore
- sometimes at random times he has a hard time walking because of his knee starting to hurt

I don't really know what could cause much of that or a combination of them but I do know I'd be taking my butt to the doctor to make sure it isn't anything serious. The discoloration in particular would worry me.

I'm no expert, but I'd hope that he'd see a doctor. This is quite serious, and could lead to lasting issues or death. His stomach in particular seems to be at the center of his problems. Perhaps it has worn down and there is some leakage?

There's many more questions that need to be asked and I'd have to exam him personally. These are quite broad symptoms and would probably need diagnostic testing. However, it sounds like some sort of kidney issue to me due to the flank pain and difficult urination. I could be wrong though as I don't have a lot of information.

Is the discoloration blue or purplish? (This could also be a sign of something being wrong with kidneys)
How frequent is urination?
Is urination painful?
Does it feel like the bladder is empty after urination or does it feel like there is urine still there?

He should go see a doctor.
