It's still not to late to appply for the Game Reviewing Position.

Vizzed is looking for anyone interested in joining the RGR Staff and who also has great reviewing abilities. Your primarily role will be to write 1 or 2 reviews a week but you'll also be given a secondary role once you've held the position for a while and have done a good job.

For more information, go to this thread:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=29708

Local Mod App closing in 3 hours and results will be up this weekend.

~sakura~ Day ends with 2350 Posts! We set out to get at least 1000 and our goal was 2000 and we definitely exceeded both of those and hit a ton of board records today, ~sakura~ would be proud of us!

Great job everyone, it was a great cause and the day went very well

Discussion thread can be found here:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=30503

~sakura~ Day is today which means, it's time to start posting as much as we can! The minimum goal is 1000 posts but it'd be great if we could break 2000.

If you don't know what this is, refer to the previous announcement or refer to this thread:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=30294

EDIT: I've enabled profile comments for the time being so everyone can pass on their comments to her via her profile.

If you have any questions or feedback regarding ~sakura~ Day, post them in this thread:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=30417

We're going to honor ~sakura~ again this year on August 10th by posting as much as we possibly can in single 1 day. For those who don't know, she was a member who was diagnosed with leukemia about a year ago and had a very bad chance of survival, she made her going away thread here:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=14496

We haven't heard from her since so we don't know what whether she survived or not, we can only hope that she did but to honor and remember her, we're going to make this an annual thing. August 10th our goal is to reach at least 1,000 posts but last year we got around 1600 and our current board record for most posts within a 24 hour period is 1915 so I'd really like to beat both of those records so I would really like to aim for 2000 posts in a single day. I'll make another announcement once the post spree day officially begins and ends.

To find out why we picked 1000 post as a target, why we chose to honor her this way and why we chose August 10th, refer to this thread:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=14510

I'm currently selling a bunch of Playstation 3 games (and various other gaming items) in my Amazon store so check it out here:
http://www.amazon.com/shops/vizzed

I'll also give you 1000 Viz for each $5 you spend in my store (but be sure to PM me letting me know which items you bought). The money earned in the store will help go toward future features on vizzed (such as updates to the RGR Plugin).

If you don't have a PS3 or you're not interested in any of the items in the store but still want to help out, feel free to donate to the site

If you want to donate any video games to vizzed, I'll give you 500 Viz for each US $1 that your game is worth, please PM me which games you'd like to donate to the site and I'll give you my address for you to send the games to. Vizzed is looking to get physical copies of all the games in the RGR but if you donate a game that isn't in the RGR, than I'll place it in my amazon store and money earned from it will go toward future site features.

The site maintenance and server migration are completely finished (finally). Everything on the site should be back to normal and the site should be a lot faster than it use to be and there should be very little down time now.

If you've lost a save file over the past week, PM me and I'll compensate you with 5000+ Viz.

If you're having any other issues that have come up over the past week because of the server issues and migration, please report them in this thread:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/thread.php?id=29554

You should all be able to load and save your game progress on the games again. Also, the screenshot taking abilities should work again as well.

The site still has a few more issues that need to be worked out but once those are taken care of, I'll make an official announcement letting everyone know that vizzed is back to normal.

The server transfer is complete. Still need to transfer RGR Plugin save files and screenshots though, so that might take around 12 hours. This means that any save files you make during this time may get overwritten.

The site should be a bit faster now

Site will begin migrating to the new server, and it will take anywhere between 12 and 24 hours. Any save files and uploads made during this time will probably be lost so if you're currently playing a game on the site, I suggest you save your progress now and find a game to play that doesn't require saving.

I'll make another announcement when everything is done.

The site will be transferring to a new server (and it'll probably be faster). The current has some issues with it and some other problems I can't speak of publicly, so we'll be transferring over to a new server sometime within the next 48 hours. I'll make another announcement when the transfer begins (the RGR will probably be down during the 12 hour transfer). The site may be up and down during this 48 hours period.

I apologize for the inconvenience but things came up that took me by surprise, I hate having to do transfers during the weekend and it definitely wasn't my decision so I hope everyone understands.

Thanks.

The New Chat Room that launched a few days ago is now mobile phone compatible. Before you had to have a flash enabled browser, now you can get in with a browser that doesn't support flash.

You can find the Chat Room links at the top of the page.

As said before, the chat room is lag free, tons of better features, and it stays up even if vizzed goes down.

Vizzed has upgraded chat rooms again. The new chat room is located on a different server which means that if Vizzed is down, the chat room wont be. Use your Vizzed board login details to get into the chat room.

Currently you need a Flash compatible browser to get into the chat room but that'll change on Monday.

Here's the chat room:
http://davideo7chat.chat.123flashchat.com/

Something I should point out. The chat room no longer logs your chat minutes (maybe in the future it will though) and it also no longer costs Viz to use the chat room.

The chat room is not only lag free but is just filled with tons of nice features. Here's a few worth mentioning:
-Can be in more than 1 room at a time (and it lets you know when each room gets a new message)
-Can embed youtube videos to chat
-Shows who is typing and when
-Custom Avatars (this feature will be available on monday)
-A special chat room with a media player
-Chat History
-Better mod options for the staff
-Lots of adjustable options for each user
-Tons more, you'll just have to try it out to see

If you have any questions or comments regarding the new chat room, please post them here:

Also, the amount of Viz you get for referring users has been extended until July 1st. For those who are unfamiliar with this, as a way to say sorry for the problems Vizzed has been experiencing for the past 2 months, I made it so you get triple the amount of Viz for referring users. I also made it so that games are 75% their original Viz price. These offers was suppose to end 2 days ago but I'm extending it until July 1st.

The site Maintenance is complete and this means that everyone should be able to save their game progress on the RGR games now. Other features on the site that involve uploading should also work again. We will be having some more maintenance sometime within the next 7 days. Also want to point out that the new wave of attacks haven't stopped and haven't been fully prevented yet so it's possible that the site may go down a few times during the next few days or even weeks (hopefully this will be solved soon though).

If saving your games still doesn't work, be sure to PM RGR Staff:
https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/sendprivate.php?userid=35245

Lastly, I'd like to give a big public thanks to lorreleibailey for donating $250 to the site and a total of $450 over the past 2 months. The money really helps out, especially when money is needed to invest into security because of the attacks vizzed has been experiencing over the past 2 months (and it also helps to recover from financial damage that the attacks have caused).
