Urg... getting massive amounts of control-lag trying to play this game. (I'll press a key and it won't register for a full second at least or won't register at all, has resulted in more than a few deaths.)

Davideo7 : I'd wager it's probably the fact that the emulator uses Java and it takes a lot of processing power to run, more than what my computer can handle. (It's probably why rcarter kept crashing at the 600k mark last month.)

I'm sorry to say this but NESCafe is awful.  I hear lots of comments saying that it lags them and is slow.  I would rather use RGR Plugin than NESCafe cause it runs it perfectly.  Can we use a different emulator?

This computer is only one update behind, but one update shouldn't cause so much of a difference as to remove input lag lasting upwards of a second or more, and in a game like this, one second can separate a high score from an early demise. (This one, I have less details on the specs, but I do know it has the same RAM, but runs on Vista and is at least three years old, yet runs about the same on here as it does my laptop.)
